Welcome to Flatonia!
This home has recently undergone complete restoration.
Two bedrooms, each furnished with a plush California King bed.
Two full bathrooms.
Living, dining, and full kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Smart televisions in each bedroom and in living room.
High quality wireless internet throughout.
The home sits on a completely fenced and gated private one half acre lot with plenty of room for fun and games (croquet, badminton, and bocce ball sets stocked in home as well as indoor games)!
Outdoor Grill.
Recently installed landscaping (soon to be lush and full of flowers).
Hot tub!
We love our customers!...and your pets...please note that pets are allowed and should be attended. The fence around the majority of the property is 5' high, while the fence around the front yard is only 3' high.
If your pet is over 50lbs please contact us. We are happy to make exceptions whenever possible!
Smoking allowed outdoors only!

Tammy was so kind, and easy to communicate with. Her home is charming, incredibly clean and tastefully updated. All the details have been thought of. I appreciated the air filters in several rooms as I have allergies. Again, it was all so clean and feels very recently renovated! Loved having a drink on the front porch and all the natural light inside. The claw foot tub was wonderful, and I loved the record player. I felt safe staying there by myself, and the automatic gate was nice to park in. Thanks again!

Wow, this place was more than I expected. It looked good from the ad but the attention to detail and decor was a home run. Everything we needed was there, beds were super comfortable and the whole place was immaculate. Huge gated back yard area and tons of extras. Will stay again for MS 150 (2026)

Beautifully restored home facing high traffic street

The home is indeed beautifully restored and has lots of character and charm. It was fully stocked with necessities, and the inside was very clean and well decorated. I truly appreciate the super comfortable bed, and the swivel chairs in living room were super comfy too - perfect to relax in and read. The curtains were not only very nice detailing but also blocked out light to allow us to sleep late. The furniture on front porch and back sitting area needed cleaning, we were unable to find a broom to clean them and the area off so we shook them off as best we could to enjoy the outdoors. The home provides added security with its private gated entrance which was a bonus to be secure in a gated yard. The house does front face the high traffic main road which if you are a light sleeper like me can be frustrating. Nevertheless, if you are like my husband he was able to tune it out but did agree there were quite a lot of 18 wheelers during the evening. Overall, we truly enjoyed the home, all the birds and flowers within the property and it was a fun and relaxing few days.

Amazing home and so comfortable. Our pets enjoyed the large yard. Super clean home with nostalgia all around. We will definitely visit this home again. Flatonia is a sweet little town.

Amazing place!

This house was amazing, beautiful bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen with everything you need. The beds have heated mattress covers, which were great because it got really cold this weekend. It was so nice to get into a warm bed. A amazing added touch! The hot tub was fully enclosed so you can sit out there and enjoy the stars or sit out on the front porch and watch the traffic go by. It was exactly the right place at the right time for me definitely will be back

Shiner Beer Run

This trip was so much better than we had expected. We showed up late and did not have any trouble getting onto the property. The hosts even set out a complementary bottle of wine which we were able to enjoy in the hottub. I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit.

Small Town Texas Treasure

This is a little gem. Top notch renovation of a charming small town Texas house. Great attention to details and plenty of little extras. We spent the day visiting the Painted Churches in the area and came home to this special house and beautiful yard. Fresh fruit and a complimentary bottle of wine was a nice treat. Great quality beds and linens, tasteful decor, and super clean. We always stay in guest houses and this one ranks at the top.

Great place in the area

My wife and I really enjoyed this place. It has all the things you want and is very close to a great art gallery and a really nice grocery store on main street. We would love to go back and stay for longer.

Charming Historic Property w/Modern Amenities

Charming historic home has a great layout - especially for 2 traveling couples - and the modern amenities travelers want/need. Owner tastefully remodeled in a way that maintained the historic character while also providing contemporary comforts. We loved that each couple had their own king-size bed and full-size bathroom. Nice Keurig selection (different coffee varieties and tea too which was great for non-coffee family members) and fresh fruit/bottle of wine on the dining table. The water system in the dining room - offering cold/hot bottled water - was also a very nice touch. Tammy was great, friendly and accommodating. I suggest calling her though as when I messaged via VRBO I didn't get a response, but when I called she immediately picked up. However, it WAS the Christmas/New Year's holidays, so I tend to go offline then too : ) My family really enjoyed our visit and hopes to stay here again. Only suggestion is brighter bulbs in the kitchen. Oh, and if you're sensitive to night noise like the occasional 18-wheeler or train going by turn on the white noise app on your phone. The location is perfect in that it's easy access to so many places, but you are on the main thoroughfare.

Impeccable Cottage

We came to Flatonia for a high school basketball tournament and stayed here. This place is cleaner than clean, neater than neat and just extremely well done. This is no weekend warrior remodel. Whoever redid this house was a pro and it is spectacular and the furnishings are gorgeous. Our kids have two more years of high school basketball and we will for sure stay here each year for the tournament.

A beautiful, convenient getaway!

This is an absolute gem that has been beautifully renovated and stocked with everything you need for a wonderful getaway. The host is warm, welcoming and went out of her way to make us feel at home and ensure we had everything we needed for our stay!
