”Mountain Shadows is a cozy cottage nestled in the forest amongst a few other cabins but with enough privacy to let you lay back and relax. The house was well-equipped, clean and the hot tub was a welcome diversion after a long day out. This is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone.”

”This was a lovely little house to use as a home base for some mountain adventures. My kids especially loved the full-sized bunk beds. Check in was easy, the hosts responded immediately to questions and were very helpful. An added bonus, Weaverville itself is a great little town with good food and fun shops! I would absolutely go back to this same property!”

”Our dogs were very happy about the thick grass around the property. I didn’t bring their beds, but I went to the Dollar General and bought a rug for them, which softened the hardwood floors. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this old stone house. It reminded me of relatives homes from the distant past. There’s only one small bathroom, but since it’s just the two of us, it was fine. We loved the break from the everyday bustle.”

”We have rented for many years. Homes, cabins, etc. This cottage was outstanding. We were perfectly happy with the stay. Very clean. Everything seemed to be new. Privacy fence around the entire backyard, which was great for us as well as the dog. Near enough to downtown but approx. 3/4 mile or more to walk. All level walking area, but the heat can take its toll. There is plenty of parking in town, so if walking is an issue I suggest the short drive. The owners of the cottage were available at all...
