”On opening our room door my wife and I thought nice, however after a while we decided it was not as nice as we thought, lots of cobwebs and cracks in the walls a refurbished is needed. We both had little sleep as in the early hours of the night we heard loud drilling noise as if someone was working nearby. The breakfast was nothing to write home about everything was put on the plate so your toast became soggy and only the middle was buttered, service was poor.”

”The breakfast wasnt great but the staff were friendly. The air conditioning was working but i felt the room was a bit cold for my liking but the staff did turn on the heating but if just wasn't hot enough for me. However both the room & its surroundings were beautiful! ”

”Great room with cooking faculities, staff were super helpfull and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location which is a short and pleasant walk into Cambridge centre. You get what you pay for at this hotel which is an all round luxurious hotel experience.”

”Charming but in need of updating. Peaceful area and a nice hour's stroll (or less) into the attached Manor Park and its lovely pinetum. It was very muddy and boggy in the park in February, wellies are a must! Our room (12) was classed as a 'superior' but I don't think that was warranted. I've seen far nicer rooms on the website, perhaps we drew the short straw. We had a double bed which felt small, these days I like a king in a superior room.
