In particular when we went to have a swim one of the members of staff on the leisure centre desk was extremely helpful My husband… who is in his 60’s … has early onset Alzheimer’s. ”The room was very clean and warm comfortable the only problem we had was the shower wasn’t hot but Luke warm it was late when we had are shower so couldn’t mention it and we were there for one night. In the morning when we had breakfast we did mention this issue. The staff member that looked after us for breakfast was lovely made sure we had everything the cooked breakfast was lovely her name was iessie she was amazing would differently come again this is our second visit in a year.. ”

”Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. ”

”Fantastic stay. I received a warm welcome and was informed of the history of the main house and given informationabout breakfast and the relaxing bar area. Breakfast orders are taken the evening before, and my order was delivered to the dining room at exactly the time ordered (it was hot, fresh and delicious). There are cereals etc already in the room.
