We spent 4 days here. The location is excellent; however, the rental was very disappointing. The website photos were staged and do not accurately represent the condition of the property today except for the kitchen. The unit looks worn down. There are no plants, and the unit is poorly lit, especially the bathroom. Upon arrival the bathroom had dirt on the toilet and bidet bases, and the wall fixtures and soap dish were not clean. It seemed as if it were below knee level it wasn't dusted. The bedroom carpets were dirty. The kitchen table was unusable due to poor installation. First used at night, the shower flooded onto the floor due to a clogged drain, so no showers next morning. A couch cushion was displaced while sitting, and there was dirt, hair, and food underneath them. The dryer lint filter was full. While property management was responsive and sympathetic and had the drain fixed, the bathroom and carpets remained dirty. The couch was vacuumed the day before we left. I know the building is old, but the sad part for me is the unit could be stunning if only it were cared for and maintained properly. A coat of paint, comfortable living room seating, and a good cleaning from top to bottom would be a great start. Just a note: The unit is listed as on the second floor, but the stairs you have to climb to get there seem more like the third floor as the ceilings are high, which may be an issue if you have mobility problems. I would not stay here again.
