Charming lakeside cottage to watch nature play

We love our cottage because it's set right in the quaint little town - a hop skip and jump to the bakery, ice cream and coffee shops and great little restaurants but feels extremely private. The views from our cozy front porch make us never want to leave. We get a regular show of ever changing wildlife. The neighborhood is friendly, quiet and safe. My friends say it reminds them of a place a Hallmark movie would be made, and then... a movie was made next door this past winter :)

The beds are comfy and decor is modern but
homey. Fishing is right out the front door. In the evenings, we cast a line from the shore.

It was another successful and enjoyable girls weekend. The home is so welcoming. The decor is charming. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and were perfect for sleeping in. Though the weather was a bit cool, we still enjoyed time on the porch facing the lake. we all just grabbed a blanket and made ourselves at home. The homeowner was wonderful to work with also. Had no problems with communication. She checked in to make sure that everything was going well and asked if there was anything that she could help us with. she also gave us a bunch of suggestions for things to do on the way to the cabin and while we were at the cabin. If we ever decide to do the waterfalls again in that part of the state, we will certainly reach out and request this home.

Property is exactly as advertised. Nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. VERY quiet neighborhood. Bluejays and Orioles are common visitors to the feeders. Outdoor gas grill could use some fresh lava rocks, but overall excellent property.

Secluded jewel

The cottage was very clean and inviting, with beautiful decor and special touches. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was very well outfitted, at a beautiful location. All of which made for a memorable experience.

Wonderful stay!

Our stay was incredible! The location on the lake was amazing and allowed our family time to play in the snow. The house is so inviting and we felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. Carmen was a phenomenal host, and we thank her so being so gracious.
