Tämä on kaunis, tyylikäs ja rauhallinen huoneisto, täysin peruskorjattu keskuslämmitys, Keski AC (vain asennettu $ 10,000 järjestelmä!) ja uusilla laitteilla, Firenzen sydämessä. Kyllä, 7 min. kävele Ponte Vecchiolta Arno-joelta, ja niin olette niin onnellisia, ettet elä kesken turisteja ja itsetietoisia myyjiä. Oltrarno on ylivoimaisesti paras, vähiten turistikohde. Olemme Via Romana 29, 50 metrin päässä Boboli-puutarhan sisäänkäynnistä, Pitti-palatsin vieressä. Löydät upean Yamaha C2-pianon, Italiassa nopein Wi-Fi-internet, uuden SMART-TV: n DVD- ja VHS-soittimella sekä uuden SONY-äänentoistojärjestelmän, jonka avulla voit toistaa omia musiikkisi Bluetooth-puhelimen kautta USB-pistoke. Wi-Fi on ilmainen!

Se koostuu sisäänkäynnistä ja olohuoneesta, täysin varustetusta keittiöstä, jossa on pöytä neljäksi, kaksi makuuhuonetta, kaksi kylpyhuonetta ja vaatekaappi, keskuslämmitys, puhelin, pesukone, astianpesukone, mikroaaltouuni ja hyönteisten näytöt ikkunat!

Vaimoni ja minä tulimme Italiaan vuonna 1973, kun aloin työskennellä valokuvaajaina. Meidän pianisti / säveltäjä poika William, joka syntyi ja nosti esiin Italiassa, asui tässä tasangossa pari vuotta ennen kuin päätti etsiä omaisuutensa U. S.A.

Firenze ei tarvitse esittelyä. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this cozy home. We had everything we needed for us and our kids, for cooking our breakfast and lunch. My daughter really enjoyed playing the piano. Everything was so close by we would go out in the morning for an outing and return to rest at midday and go back out again. The neighborhood nearby was very charming and friendly. There was a farmers market on Sunday a couple blocks away which was a nice treat for us. We would highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment, ideal location in Florence

This apartment is very spacious, comfortable, quiet, and in an ideal area of Florence - away from the high traffic touristy areas, but a stone's throw from great restaurants, nightlife and tons of little shops and galleries. It was a short walk to anything we wanted to see. Our teenage musician really enjoyed making use of the piano in the apartment. Thanks George for your hospitality! We will definitely be recommending this property for any friends visiting Florence.

Fantastic location and space!

What a lovely space in the absolutely best area. George was amazing to work with and you truly feel like you’re one of the neighbors. Definitely recommend this space for a couple and it really just feels like home !

Rustic charm

We really enjoyed our time in Florence. The apartment is in a fantastic location just down the street from the Pitti Palace. There are supermarkets and restaurants very close by. The apartment is very similar to the photographs, but there is a table in the living area now which does make the space feel small (although I think for people that are cooking for themselves, the table is a welcome addition). The place feels well loved, it's very rustic. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. It was very hot when we were there and the air con in the bedrooms allowed us to sleep well at night. We found that the air con in the living area couldn't cool us down enough so that was quite difficult. George is a fantastic host - he was fabulous at communicating with us and was incredibly helpful when it came to finding a park for our car. We have been travelling in Europe for 7 weeks and have stayed in a lot of different apartments and this is the first one where we have had the electric metre monitored and then had to pay an additional charge for using electricity. We are not a fan of that system. Overall, George is a wonderful host, the apartment is in a great location but it wasn't quite our cup of tea.

Walk everywhere quickly, Attentive Hosts

George and Lynn went out of their way to see that we were comfortable and felt Florentine for the week. The location could not be better for experiencing classic destinations but still being in an authentic residential setting. We were joined by our two adult children but this would be an equally good spot for a couple.

Vacation Like You Live in Florence!

Located in a lovely neighborhood, away from the noise and crowds, our apartment had all of the things we needed to feel at home. George, our host was very responsive to all requests and questions. With a two week stay, we were able to cook in the well-stocked kitchen instead of going out all the time which was great. I cooked a lot. Our family of three adults enjoyed the comfort of A/C in both bedrooms AND living room. Great laundromat located next door with washers AND dryers!! We truly enjoyed our stay!

A Really Great Apartment In Just the Right Spot

We stayed in the apartment for 9 days. This apartment was fantastic from the moving-in to moving-out day. It is perfectly situated, just outside the hubbub of Centro but close enough to so that it’s an easy walk. Plus, there is so much to do in Oltrarno we ended up spending most of our time in the Santo Spirito and San Frediano neighborhoods. The apartment itself is nicely laid out, especially if a second bedroom is appropriate. Everything worked, everything was clean, there were more than enough dishes, cutlery and cooking supplies. Even the washing machine worked, which in our experience In Europe isn’t always a given. George met us at the apartment and stayed in touch with us via Whatsapp the whole time, making sure everything was just right. He definitely was not an absentee landlord. My only regret is that I had to leave.

Awesome location and nice digs for your stay in Florence.

This was our second rental in Italy on a European adventure. We loved this apartment. The stairs are a significant workout but that's healthy! There were fresh flowers, a wide range of books, easy and pretty speedy wi-fi, a kitchen with all you might need to cook (we chose not to) comfortable beds and a storage room that made it easy for drying the laundry and storing our suitcases outside the rooms. It is an excellent location, walking distance to the beautiful Boboli Gardens, Ponte Vecchio, and the Doumo. Check in was smooth, good communication from the owner and even extras like a bottle of wine for us! I highly recommend this VRBO for your stay in Florence.

Comforting accommodations with Italian flair

Our stay in Italy was very pleasant due to our location and host. The location put us close to historic Florence by foot, but just outside the constant flow of touristy traffic. George is a very helpful and his attention to details shows with all the extras. Amenities including AC in each room, a full size fridge, and fresh flowers made us feel at home. Note that for some guests, the hike to third floor might be a barrier. Hoping you enjoy your stay too!

Fantastic host and apartment!

George was a fantastic host! The apartment was super clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed and George explained everything so well. He really took pride in his home and we felt grateful he opened it to us for our stay. We traveled with 2 kids ages 12 and 13 and had no issues walking anywhere. It was a quick walk to Pitti Palace and then 15-20 min walk to the Duomo. There were plenty of restaurants nearby that were excellent. My advice- no car is needed in Florence at all. You can’t drive in most of the streets due to restrictions. We had a car but left it in a spot and didn’t touch it again for 4 days. We wanted to do some day trips but opted for a train to Pisa due to the hassle of getting the car etc. Overall I would recommend this stay to anyone- it was a great experience. Would love to go back again!

George is an impeccable host who clearly cares about his guests’ successful stay in Florence. He reached out shortly after I made our booking and helped with trip-planning prior to our arrival; we travelled with a complete feeling of security that our arrival and check-in would go well, and it did. The apartment itself is a gem with bedding, bathrooms, heating and washing machine in excellent order, and also genuinely a comfortable and substantial home, with evidence everywhere of the professional artistic interests of its owner and his family. Also a special mention for the kitchen which is kitted out with sufficient pots, strainers, ladles, thin-lipped wine glasses, nice-quality cutlery to cook and serve a beautiful meal in comfort. We also loved the location, well away from the tourist zone (heaving even in February), but readily walkable to just about everything a visitor is likely to want to see. Of the neighbourhood shops, we especially liked the pescheria just beyond the porta, Botteghe Fornaio on via sant’Agostino for daily bread and Pitti Express just opposite the apartment where a cheerful and friendly trio provided delicious inexpensive sandwiches throughout the day. Just to note that this location is not suitable for a traveller with mobility issues or heavy luggage. The climb to the apartment provided a good work-out even for this relatively fit user and there is no alternative to the stairs.

Excellent stay

We loved the situation of the Apartment in the Oltrano area and the apartment itself was just perfect — clean, pretty, attention to details that made us feel welcomed. We ate in on one evening and the kitchen, the cutlery and the pretty plates all made us think we were home, only in Florence. We loved our stay!
