The air conditioning was set to heat and couldn't be regulated. With the temperature outside at 77 degrees Fahrenheit, the heat inside the room was intense. The windows are high, making it impossible to open them. To get to the apartment, there’s a lot of stairs, and there's no elevator. Keep this in mind if you're carrying large suitcases. The customer service was terrible. They didn't answer. I had to contact Expedia staff three times to get them to contact the apartment owner. The owner told me he would resolve the situation, but they never did. The next day, they wrote that they would bring a fan because the air conditioning couldn't be turned down, but they never did. Then they wrote me offering a discount for one night because the other nights had been resolved with the fan, which they never brought, and they claimed they would. In the end, they offered me a discount to stay in another of their apartments. But the service was so bad that I didn't use it. I wasted a lot of time in Florence trying to get them to resolve the situation, and the communication was terrible, a disgrace. Every time I wrote, a different employee answered, and no one resolved the issue. It took more than 12 hours for a reply, and when they did, it was because sometimes they didn't even answer the messages. As for the location, it's great, but the service isn't worth it.
