Tämä kaunis loft on 5. ja viimeisessä kerroksessa (hissi ja 10 askelta) muunnettu rakennuksen vanhasta kattoterassista, ja siitä on upea näköala!

Kolme suurta ikkunaa avautuu näkymään Palazzo Vecchioon, Bargelloon, Duomoon ja Chiesa della Badiaan.
Tilassa on minikeittiö, ruokailutila ja keskustelualue, vuodesohva (160 cm). Suuressa parvella on kaksi parivuodetta.

Location Location Location

You can’t find a better location in this area of Florence. The property managers allowed us to drop their bags at their office, just a five minute walk from the flat so we could get going on shopping and site seeing before check in was ready. They walked us through everything at check in and everything went very well. There is even a washer and dryer we used to run a little laundry. The only downside we could find was the beds and pillows seemed to be very hard and the sheets were a little on the rougher side also. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again and recommend. FYI: the beds are up a narrow spiral staircase, so as long as that’s not a problem for you this is a great property.

There should be a 6 star option for location. If you want art to take home walk across the square a bit before the Uffizi opens and check out the local artist or enjoy the piazza at night as the kids (and adults) shoot off the glow toys.

Amazing location and view

This is a beautiful apartment with tons of style right in historic Florence. It is right on the Palazzo Vecchio and a five minute walk to the Uffizi and 7 minutes to Ponte Vecchio and the Arno. It was very clean and the views amazing. The only thing to be aware of is that both of the beds are up a metal spiral staircase and in a loft space with no walls, and you have to stoop to get from one bed to the other. But we would go back in a heartbeat.

Amazing location -

The positives - location was truly un-believable. You are staying in an old castle - Pallazza Ugguzionni.. the loft is great - but you have to climb a narrow circular stair to get to the loft - that works for younger folks. It’s got 2 extra sofa beds in addition to the 4 sleeping upstairs so more than 4 can be easily accommodated even though there is only 1 bathroom.The compact apartment is well stocked with everything. Check-in process was not the smoothest since the office is closed outside of 10-6. Most other VRBOs I stayed, the staff respond after hours - not this placeI would give the location a 10, the apartment layout a 9 only because older folks might have issues climbing the stairs.Washer /Dryer was superb and that was an extra plus since most places only have a washer.Staff response would be a 8

Excellent!

Overall great location and accommodations. The loft has spectacular views of the city and is very convenient to all of the sites in the city center. We are a family of four (parents & 2 teenagers). We were able to spread out in the apartment and have enough space. The stairs to the loft are steep, but we did not have any issues. It was great having elevator up to the apartment with only one flight of stairs to reach the apartment. We Loved having a small kitchen for making breakfast. There are plenty of places near by to eat or do take away (there’s a great cafe right around the corner from Gucci with the best pastries). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend!

Florence for Two

The property was as advertised, there is a single bathroom on main floor, sleeping is in the loft. So yes, if you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, please be careful coming down the spiral staircase. For the type of property and expense the amenities were unspectacular, but that is subjective. The property is gorgeous and is located in the Signoria Square. That said, the property managers could do a much better job directing you to the correct building in the square. Why do I say this, well if you take a taxi they drop you off somewhere along the square, they cannot travel in the square. Once you are in the square it is unclear what building you are meeting the property managers, so as we are exploring and asking others if they know this property you end up WhatsApp'ing the property managers. In the end you locate it, wonderful building, huge dark brown door nestled between two restaurants. A simple description of the building and location would help a lot of folks once they arrive. Now for the strangest part of this experience. We booked months in advance, but on several occasions I reached out to the property managers to be CHARGED for my reservation, yes I reached out several times. We learned they have a separate payment system, i.e. outside of VRBO. Each time I engaged I was told my card would be charged, each time it did not happen. About two weeks out from trip they charged my card, they were making me nervous.

Wonderful Location

This property location is ideal, centrally located if traveling to Firenze. I’d recommend the apartment for a couple, not necessarily a family with small kids due to the layout; the beds are in the loft that is accessed by a narrow spiral staircase. The bathroom is outdated and in our case was not cleaned well. The rest of the apartment was clean and comfortable. Communication was great and we were able to access the apartment early. The only downside of check-in is the property management staff walks with you from the office to the apt., so there is no self check-in (that I’m aware of)

It’s ok. Location is great. Property is average.

Interesting space, but I would not call it loft, this is some sort of attic space repurposed as a room. It does not even have proper entry door. All normal apartments are down below. Pictures make it look a little bigger than it is actually is. There windows facing all 4 sides, but some of them are tiny and in the bathroom, so no 360 degree view either. One of the windows is actually pretty scary since it is leaning outside and I have a feeling might fell off. It developed large gaps on the side and looses lots of air. Apartment partially overlooks the roof. Beds are on the upper level and it can be somewhat hot in there. You have to be careful not to hit your head. Location is very convenient. Listing does not mention that host will collect hefty city tax in cash, $5 per day per person. You will get no receipt. Other listing in Sorrento did the same to me, except an apartment in Naples, where I got the key from a lock box and did not have to meet anyone. Overall, if you get a good price, this place is OK, but keep in mind that you will be living in the attic :)

Amazing property

The apartment is right in the middle of Florence - an easy walk to everywhere. Located in a former Castello it was really rich in heritage. We checked in quite late and this was all smooth and very friendly. Was travelling with 2 x adults and 3 teens and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful apartment in amazing location!

This was such a unique and special stay for us in Florence! The apartment is beautiful, and the location was so perfect. We were only in Florence for two nights so it was great to be in such a central location that we could walk everywhere! We loved the views from the apartment windows. It was perfect and would love to return someday!

The host communicated regularly ahead of arrival and provided helpful tips to getting to the property. The location couldn’t be more perfect, the views really are amazing. The accommodations were even better than the pictures and was well supplied. I am so glad we found this place for our holiday! 1000% recommend, would love to come back!

Fantastic Location!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location and the views are outstanding. We could easily walk to anything that we wanted to see. Not for someone with a problem climbing stairs, Beds are up a spiral staircase. Otherwise I highly recommend this loft.

This is a REAL Palace

It’s not just a name, this is an actual 500+ year old palace in probably the most historic piazza in Florence. Wow, what a fun stay! Can’t beat the location, and the views are AMAZING - see the Duomo from a little window while you shower, see the top of the Palazzo Vecchio all lit up at night while you drink wine on the couch. Some quirks of space and lighting given its age, and I wouldn’t advise the spiral stair case for the older and younger guests, but it was fine for us (family of 4, kids are 9 and 11). I’d stay here again

Amazing apartment in the heart of Florence

When we saw the photos of the views from the apartment windows we thought they must be photoshopped, but the apartment really is that close! We were able to walk to all the major sights and enjoyed being in the heart of the old city. The spiral staircase up to the loft can be a bit treacherous, but a bit of care avoided any major mishaps. This was the perfect home base for a truly memorable trip!

What a fun experience. This is just as advertised- a high end loft remodel within a piece of history. The views are truly stunning, the AC and appliances all worked perfectly, and the location is the best you could imagine.
