”The place in general was quiet. The morning breakfast was very good. The kitchen staff, however, should realize that chopping ice for ice bag prep, should’ve been done before the start of breakfast or after. They chopped ice from the ice maker with a metal scoop, bagged ice and talked loudly the entire time we ate breakfast. It was unbelievably annoying. The other patrons eyes & body responses were the same. ”

”The Heron is a very well maintained vintage building with the creature comforts and customer service to entice me to want to return for a longer visit. There’s ample parking and we were able to plug in our electric car. The lobby area features an appealing lounge with massive fireplace and seating as well as the breakfast dining area. ”What a charming inn on some of the most spectacular private coastline in the Pacific Northwest. We loved our spot, feet up on our own private balcony watching Blue Heron, Bald Eages, etc. and boats going by, wandering down the path to the pebble beach below, picking blackberries... Idyllic. ”We very much enjoyed our stay at Baker's Acres. The cottage/barn was well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. My husband enjoyed watching March Madness each evening using our HBO account on the large TV. Everyone was so friendly in Langley. We were able to eat outside with our pug at a coffee house/bookstore and later in the day at a tap house with a Polynesian food truck. Our dog loved the off-leash dog beach by Useless Bay. L. Evans”
