”Hotel Boutique Casa del Río was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip! Nestled in the heart of the rainforest, the property is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for nature lovers. Our room was beautiful, and waking up to the soothing sound of the rushing river each morning was incredibly peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh tropical fruits, fresh juices, and a flavorful traditional Costa Rican breakfast. The view of the volcano from the restaurant in the morning was breathtaking....

”Though the balcony provides you with a beautiful view, it is a very excluded property where you must drive uphill towards (especially difficult at night). Convenient as it was right across from mistico hanging bridges, but still a drive away to other attractions in la fortuna. The rooms had quite a bit of insects (mostly lizards and ants), and if you wanted to talk to the reception you had to walk there as there were no phones in the room. You also had to drive to breakfast as it was located at...

”Friendly service. Noisy neighbours disturbed a little because we were very tired and went to bed early. Noisy air conditioner. Earplugs helped a lot. Nice swimming pool, good beds, good breakfast. Good location.”

”Great location just outside of La Fortuna - quick drive into town, but the house location has a country feel. Safe, secure property with a large yard and great outdoor patio. The inside is beautifully finished. Diego made sure we knew he was available for anything 24 hours a day. Would definitely stay again!”

”Breakfast was very good and on time. Try the banana pancakes. Staff was very helpful and toured their farm and coffee plantation. The hikes on property were great and the cloud forest experience could not be better. The rooms are sparse but great for the experience. No AC but was not needed. ”
