  • Tervetuloa Perfect Beach Cottage! Tämä klassinen mökki korostaa kaikkea, mitä Folly Beach on! Lemmikkieläinystävällinen telakalla, kattopinnalla ja kadun toisella puolella rannalta. 1630 East Ashley on 2 makuuhuoneen / 2 hengen kylpy, joka mukavasti nukkuu 5 ja on perheen kohde tulevina vuosina!

    Saapuessaan kotiin ensimmäinen asia, jonka huomaat, on suuri eteinen kuisti East Ashleyssä, joka sopii aamukahviin tai iltapäivätuoliin pitkän päivän jälkeen rannalla. Kodin tärkein oleskelutila käsittää avoin pohjaratkaisu, jossa on olohuone ja keittiö. Olohuoneessa on taulu-tv, mukavat istumavaihtoehdot ja futon lisämukavuutta varten. Perhe-ruokapöytä erottaa olohuoneen keittiöstä, ja se sopii erinomaisesti perheen aterioihin tai peliyön. Keittiössä on suuri vastatila, ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistettu jääkaappi, sähköuuni / liesi, mikroaaltouuni, astianpesukone ja kaikki mukavuudet, vaikka kaikkein vaativin kokki arvostaisi.

    Makuuhuone on kodin takaosassa, jossa on king-size-vuode, taulu-tv ja näkymät merelle. Huoneessa on täysi kylpyamme, jossa on suihku / amme-yhdistelmä sekä pääsy takakuistiin. Uudet liinavaatteet koko kotiin lisäävät vain tätä ominaisuutta. Toisessa huoneessa on taulu-tv ja queen-vuode. Lopullinen kylpy on kodin takana, jossa on suihkukaappi. Pesukone / kuivausrumpu sijaitsee myös tässä suuressa kylpyhuoneessa mukavuuden vuoksi.

    Talon takana on suosikki ripustettu paikka, jossa on turvatarkastus kuistilla ja kattoterassilla. Näkymiin kuuluu myös Cooperin joen silta sekä Morris-saaren majakka.

    Ainoa, joka voi nauttia kodista enemmän kuin perheesi, voi olla pörröinen nelijalkainen ystäväsi! Koti on kiitollinen lemmikkieläinystävällinen ja aidattu takapihalla voit nauttia rentouttavasta aikaa perheesi suosikki lemmikki. Vain lisäämällä luetteloon mukavuuksia ovat kajakkeja ja polkupyöriä kodin alla sekä rantaleluja perheelle. Jos haluat käyttää kajakkeja, anna johdolle tietää, että ne ovat saatavilla.

    Koti sijaitsee East Ashley, hyvin hiljainen osa Folly Beach, noin 2 kilometriä Center Street ja kaupallinen alue. Vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä Morris Islandin majakasta ja rannan pääsy on muutamia koteja oikealla puolella.

Our stay at the Perfect Beach Cottage was awesome. The home was just as it was advertised. It was very comfortable, well supplied and had great amenities. The proximity to the beach out front and the beautiful marsh out back was so peaceful! We also appreciated their welcoming of four legged family members. We would love to come stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Perfect Cottage! It was the ideal place to relax and unwind. We had a hard time choosing our favorite spot — the front deck with its peek of the ocean, the screened-in porch overlooking the marsh, or the Adirondack chairs by the boat dock in the backyard. Every spot was peaceful and beautiful in its own way.

Beautiful setting

We enjoyed quick assess to the beach, backyard on the marsh and breezy porch. The cottage is comfortable and fully equipped for cooking. It’s a great place to enjoy Folly Beach.

Beach house

It was a great location in proximity to beach. Perfect place for dogs. Beach chairs need to be replaced and it would have been nice if beach towels were provided. Very skimpy in shower essentials we had to buy our own for 3 people for only 4 days. All other places we have stayed it’s been oprovidided.

Perfect Vacation Spot

This was our homebase on the island while we had our beach wedding. It is classic Folly, and charmingly eclectic. Watching the sunset or having coffee on the widows walk were some of our best times. Loved the two porches! Our dog was so happy with the backyard and the little dock. Great place!

Great beach cottage.

Best of both worlds…ocean view and marsh view. The porches allow so much enjoyment. Beds were very comfy. Short walk to the beach, literally across the street and few houses down to beach access. Beach never crowded. Wished we had brought along our doodle, would have been a great place for him to stay with us. Dog friendly, but would never be able to tell dogs are allowed. Clean. Love to stay again.

Cute cottage getaway

The house was a quiet getaway with a lovely sunset view over the marsh. We enjoyed the porches, quick walk to the beach and nice bike rides to both ends of the island. The house had everything we needed and the property manager was very responsive to our call when the internet went out. They came right over to troubleshoot and fix the issue. Would certainly stay there again if we came to the beach with our dog.

Great location

We had a wonderful stay on Folly Beach and we were comfortable in this sweet little house. We were very grateful to find a place close to the beach where we could also bring our dog. The house itself is cute and we loved the front porch especially. When we arrived, we encountered a few issues, but the Carolina One managers were quick to remedy the issues. As other reviewers have noted, you will need to bring a pillow if you have specific pillow needs. We also would have given the place five stars but it needs some TLC going forward — we noticed a good bit of wear and tear indicative of a well-loved home that needs some attention. Lastly, if you are coming in the summer months, bring mosquito repellent. The mosquitoes on the marsh side were out in force.

Cute little cottage

The cottage is small, but it had everything we needed for a family of 4: parents and kids ages 21 and 17. The house was very clean when we arrived - plenty of towels. We just had one problem getting in the front door (perhaps we entered the wrong code too many times?), but customer service was responsive and very helpful with that. We really liked sitting on the front porch. The house is not right on the beach, but is only 1 row back, so we could still see the beach. Getting to the beach was relatively easy: there are 2 public access bridges within walking distance. The one a little further north at Ocean Street has a ramp all the way to the beach -- which is easier if you're pulling a wagon. Great location. The area is quiet. It's about a 5 min drive to the restaurants/shops -- not walking distance. Getting to downtown Charleston and other attractions, like Patriots Point, is a relatively short drive, about 20-30 min. We had a great stay! Thanks!

Great Location and Dog friendly!!!

We have stayed on this property with different owners and loved it because we could bring our little yorkie. We now have kids so its hard to accommodate us and my sister but we brought a tent and it was perfect! There were some things we saw that needed updating but they did not interfere with our trip. The microwave numbers flashed the whole time so you couldn’t set the time. The side door needs new weatherstripping because it’s completely gone. We love the front porch for eating and listening to the ocean, I could sit out there all day. The king bed is very comfortable. The beach access is across the street but the last step was missing, which is not safe, I guess its from sand erosion. The roof top deck is great if you want to be high up, we never sat out there because the front porch is the best! The driveway is great for parking. We have to bring a small trailer for our luggage and bikes and its great to be able to park safely and not on the street. And we love to rent a golf cart and park it easily too. It was a great stay, wish we could have bought it when the previous owners sold it. Its a great beach house. Thanks

Nice location but needs cleaning & repairs

It was a nice location and was a safe and quiet neighborhood. The beach chairs were nice to have to borrow. I only gave it two stars because of the cleanliness factor and so many things were broken and/or in poor condition. The upholstered furniture, especially the sofa was filthy and need to be cleaned professionally. The TV on the wall was crooked but I was afraid to touch it. Dust bunnies under the furniture. The binds in the small bedroom were broken and sliding glass door in master bedroom was very hard to open and close. There stick down tiles in the back bedroom are loose in spots and some actually stuck to the bottoms of our feet. There is a large hump in the kitchen floor and master bedroom floor where it looks like water causes the subfloor to swell up causing a large hump/speed bump in the middle of the floor. The baseboards door/window trim need a good scrubbing with hot soapy water as they are dirty. There were only a few hangers in each closet so we had to go out and buy a pack of hangers. There was o my one extra blanket that was dirty and smelled like body oil. I washed it twice because of the small and dog hair on it. The porches were nice to sit on and rock but just disappointed in the upkeep of the house. Lightbulbs are burnt out and need replaced too.

Pictures are deceiving

The location was fantastic and we appreciated the fact that it was dog friendly. However, the floor was apparently covered in individual square floor tiles at least three of which were not adhered properly and kept moving around presenting a tripping/slipping hazard. The screen door to the backyard had no handle on the outside and the door had to be lifted up to get it opened rendering it impossible for my 7-year-old to use without assistance. The screen door to the backyard was rotted and splitting apart on the outside and had plastic chicken wire around it. The upper deck was an accident waiting to happen with a very wobbly railing which made it extremely unsafe to use. The backyard looked very nice, and the dock was nice, but the hammock was just a waste of space as there was a gaping hole in the netting which made it unsafe and unusable. There were 5 rusted bikes under the house all with no caps on the air valves on the tires, so all tires were flat. The only tire pump was completely rusted and barely worked. The washer/dryer was a small stacked unit which was difficult with a family of 5. FYI - A/C can be set no lower than 72 and during the day cannot keep up with heat. Safety issues should be addressed immediately.

Older home with amazing location and great amenities

Overall, we really enjoyed staying here! Pros: We loved that it was dog friendly. The location is amazing - just a few houses down from a walkable beach access. It’s further away from the downtown of Folly Beach so it’s nice and quiet. Morris Lighthouse is also a short walk or bike away. Great amenities with provided beach chairs, kayaks, grill, etc. Communication with the company was fast, easy, and clear. Check in was easy. About 30 minutes from downtown Charleston. Cons: Floors were wonky - can roll cans down some of the rooms. Furniture was dated. House holds 5 people but dining room table only seats 4. Could use more silverware and coffee cups - had to do daily loads. Certain appliances (like a fan in one room) didn’t work. There were several lightbulbs out on the front and back porches. Couldn’t find a pair of scissors.

Nasty house

House was nasty !!!!!!!!! Master bed Terrible, floors nasty and not level ,food dried on counter tops ,oven nasty, couldn't use grill it was so nasty, tv didn't work in second bedroom until we called twice, picture are deceiving. House was just nasty I had to clean it before we could start our vacation. Property Management should check these houses out before renter get there. I love Folly but was very disappointed I will never stay there again.

A journey that continues

Wonderful time with wife and daughter. All amenities were there, my great wife who has dementia truly enjoyed playing corn hole at sunset in the creek. Great memories!

Great little beach cottage

House is on a nice lot and very close to public beach access (easy walking distance). We enjoyed all the choices for outdoor seating (depending on what the weather was) and there was plenty of space to park. The kayakers in our group went on several adventures with the boats and we all had a great weekend!

Cute place

The floor, bathrooms, and surfaces were clean, great! It's a great location and a cute place. it would be even better if someone cleaned the bathroom shower knob (full of mildew) and the fans , (clumps of dirt/dust on them). We had some trouble with the dryer and received a credit. The office staff were very helpful.
