Our first pet vacation

We loved our stay. We always knew Folly was pet-friendly and this house made us love Folly even more! Lots of room to spread out and the deck was divine! Lovely walk through to the beach and downtown. Thanks so much for our great stay! We will DEFINITELY be back!

Plenty of room!

Loved the slack line, firepit and chairs in the back yard! Thank you also for providing two bikes for us to enjoy. The home was wonderful and clean. We enjoyed our visit. It was within walkability to downtown dining and shops as well as the beach.

A Coastal Dream!

This property was absolutely stunning! It's easily one of the most picturesque places I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. Every detail was meticulously thought out to create a true home away from home experience. From the coastal decor to the impeccable cleanliness and thoughtful layout, everything was simply perfect! The spaciousness, proximity to Folly Beach, and the variety of water activities provided added to the overall charm. I would love to stay here again—I was genuinely sad to leave!

Amazing beach house

We absolutely loved this property. Excellent communication from the managers and even though the pictures of this place are beautiful, the reality is better. With two teens and one nearly teen there was a great amount of space for us and such a a short walk to the beach and Center St. The house has everything you need from boogie boards and ping pong to garden stuff and a brilliantly stocked kitchen. Will definitely stay here again next time we make it to the Charleston area.

Family Vacation

Overall we really enjoyed our time in Folly Beach at this property! The location was great and allowed us to ride bikes to the beach as well as the restaurants in town. The house was clean and spacious with enough room for us, two teenagers, a tween, and our puppy! Although I will say the doors to the rooms downstairs do not lock, and the doors connecting the jack and Jill bathroom do not really close so this does limit some privacy.

Get your cameras out because this house is social media gold.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable , this house more than met the needs of our party. We came for the surfers healing event and the house was close enough to the dock and downtown but far enough away to relax in a quiet neighborhood. Speaking of quiet , this town takes sound ordinance seriously. The one caveat to our excellent stay was members of our party accidentally got locked out downstairs during daytime hours ( the garage entrance is the only entrance) and no matter how loud they knocked or yelled, nothing could be heard upstairs. Nothing. The loud knocking and yelling was reported by a neighbor and the sound ordinance authority came out and made a report with a body cam on. The owner told me that they were going to be installing a doorbell, but just be aware. The house provided plenty of towels, smelled clean and fresh, and there was sooo much storage space to tuck our stuff away. The dining seating was a big plus for us , so many places 'sleep' 8 but have dining seating for four. This had plenty of dining seating plus a bar area with stools! Loved it! The contained deck was also appreciated as we were able to sit outside and bird watch ( binoculars we brought from home made that more fun) . It's also a convenient area for any party members who smoke. The ac worked great and there were plenty of channel options on the smart TV for some evening movie nights. There is a whole collection of equipment downstairs for your use. Tons of sand toys, skim boards, boogie boards, a couple adult bikes, a kids bike , soccer ball , badminton ( net is permanently set up put front) , and portable cornhole all come with the property. There's an outdoor shower in the backyard plus a hose to spray off shoes beside garage doors. The backyard was lovely but we didn't use it much . There was even a slack line out there! Fun! I cannot emphasize this enough.....bring bug spray or you will be devoured by mosquitos. Keep in mind that this is a three story beach house , so there are lots of steps. Also, be aware that the garage doors are very narrow. I bumped the metal flashing and dented it pulling in as well as scratched my car . I reported the incident to management without issue. We had an excellent stay here and I hope to be back. I will be recommending this house to My family and friends.

Peaceful getaway

Really enjoyed this vacation and appreciated that it was in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance to the beach. Loved that our dogs were able to visit too as they are family! The volleyball net in the front yard was a pleasant surprise, as well as the kayak. The house was mostly clean but we moved the two beds back a bit in the guest room away from the windows and found a half eaten cheerio under one bed and a goldfish under another. The rest of the house was clean. The light definitely comes in the windows in the mornings, especially the upstairs one, and it is hard to hang anything over them. Would definitely recommend blinds if possible.

Great house, terrible mosquitoes

We really enjoyed our stay! The house has an open floor plan and plenty of room in the bottom floor bedrooms. A few areas of improvement: window coverings in the bunkbed bedroom, some sort of shelf or storage solution for the upstairs bathroom as it only has a pedestal sink, better couch that doesn’t slide and come apart in the living room, A pull out couch in the master king bedroom, and some sort of mosquito control for outside. The mosquitoes were so bad that we could not enjoy the lovely outdoor area in the backyard or be in the front yard/driveway without being eaten up by mosquitoes. If the mosquitoes were under control, I would stay here again.

Vacation on Folley

The house was great and very large. The air worked amazingly, but it could freeze you out of the bedrooms. The kitchen had to be cleaned due to it was just not being cleaned well. The sofa was uncomfortable and it also could use a lazy boy chair for hanging out. Great selection on the TVs and great to have one in the bedrooms. The large table in the kitchen was great, and the bar area was so nice. The side yard was grown up and infested with mosquitoes which made going outside pretty uncomfortable . As well as, the back yard was not maintained and was really infested with mosquitoes due the yard being unkept. The grill was great to have and we used it at night. We loved having the laundry facilities by the bedrooms. It was great to come home with clean clothes. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and had s great time!

Quiet Street

Place was as depicted. Bedrooms on 2nd floor, living area and one bedroom on 3rd floor. On a quiet street away from the traffic; short bike ride to the beach. Very clean. House came with 2 adult bicycles and 1 child's bicycle. Rentals are also readily available. I was surprised by how heavy traffic is on weekends. Best to get around by bicycle or golf cart.

Great location, spacious and lots of storage in bathroom, kitchen and bedroom closets.

We really enjoyed our vacation rental. Layout was perfect for my husband and me, plus our dog! If we had guests join us, however, we would need a place with more than one full bathroom. But this vacation was made special in part due to our terrific vacation rental.

Great location, clean, well maintained.

The house was everything we hoped it would be and more. Not only was it well maintained, there was an assortment of beach toys/chairs and bikes in great condition. We recommend this property and look forward to staying here again.

This is our 5th time to vacation in Folly. The location was good...nice house.

I liked the house and location. Our stay was nice and relaxing. My only suggestion is that it would be appropriate to add locks to bathroom and bedroom doors. Overall really nice vacation!

Perfect

My husband and I brought 3 grand kids to the beach. Perfect accommodations. Master for us, big room with 2 queen beds and their own bath for teen girls and another bedroom perfect for a teenage boy. We rented bikes and 6 person golf cart....beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach, not really crowded. We had a great time!

We would stay here again!

We enjoyed our recent stay in Folly Beach. The home we rented was in a quiet area. The walk to the beach was nice. Each evening we enjoyed walking to get dinner. We are already thinking about our next visit. We were able to meet the homeowner and have a very pleasant conversation with him.

perfect stay

This house is in a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to beach and town of Folly. Lots of room and so very relaxing. Clean and roomy. Easy and accomodating rental compnay. Amazingly nice owners! Truly loved our stay.

Accommodations and all the special touches were awesome. Very comfortable and clean

Very nice home.......had one problem with dryer and they were there for repair very quickly. About 4 blocks to beach but some mulched paths to get there made it easy. Lots of steps but not a problem for our group. Plenty of towels and linens. There are lots of beach/sand toys there, boogie boards and even a beach wagon. Had we known that we would have not purchased before arriving but ended up leaving more toys and boards for next guests!!!! Yard was large and nice......bring bug spray!!!! Kitchen very adequate, plenty of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots and pans, only thing could have used was cookie sheets!

Great experience at this Folly Beach home
