”I liked everything about the hotel!”

”Well the only problem was the showers. We only stayed one night traveling through. I just wanted a bed and shower. The bed was great the shower was cold. I stop to let them know on the way out the shower was cold. He said oh yeah the whole second floor has trouble with the shower settings lol. He said you have to barely turn the handl on to get the hot water. If you go by the past the blue to the red it's cold. I tried multiple locations on the valve just not barely on. ”The room was dirty they left us 0 wash clothes, 2 towels, there was pubic hair on the shower wall, door jams rusted out, the shower head was dirty, we had 1 bar of soap, no shampoo, no conditioner, sheets were stained, the floors were unswept and coming apart, the ceiling had stains and cracks, and the fire alarm went off at 11 pm with no inconvenience discount”

It had a certain odor to it when walking in and when I got to my room that was labelled non-smoking it smelled as if someone had just been in there while smoking. I asked to get moved which reception did but the second room was on the second floor and there is no elevator. Was not an issue for me particularly but could be for others. ”This hotel is still under construction while the room we were given was clean and pretty nice. The bed was hard. The television did not work. We went to the office, but it was never fixed when we got there. We were charged $100 deposit and and it was not refunded that they said we smoked me and my boyfriend don’t even smoke. They kept our deposit refused to give it back so don’t stay at this hotel in Merrillville. There are many other nicer friendlier hotels in the area.”

”All was excellent except I couldn't get the thermostat to work. It kept cooling and the only way that I could stop it was by turning it off. I reported it to the front desk but they couldn't fix it either. I will still stay there in the future.”
