”I have just stayed at The Fighting Cocks for the weekend. Unfortunately we choose the weekend of the A31 closure and the New Forest fires! Resulting in a lot of traffic passing the pub. Not their fault. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was great, clean and comfortable and breakfast was included and really tasty. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was ample and reasonably priced. All in all a great little stop over.”

”Stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely stay again! The rooms were nice and cosy, great food options, quiet location, friendly staff and only a few minutes drive from car parks to walk in the New forest. Highly recommend”

”The hotel was further from Lyndhurst than I expected and although that wasn't an issue, it was further than I anticipated. This for us was the only downside to the stay. The room was cosy and comfortable and somewhat quirky. We loved its uniqueness. The hotel restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed our dinner there on our overnight stay. We would definitely stay again as it was convenient for a stop over before embarking on a cruise the following day from Southampton.”

”Lovely cosy stay. We stayed for 1 night. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. The inn had a lovely feel and was decorated for Halloween which my son loved. Breakfast was included and it was lovely my son said it's the best breakfast and hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Overall a lovely stay we'd definitely come back.”
