”We had a lovely stay in the Maiden City hotel. Beautiful decor friendly staff and our room 304 was excellent with a lovely view looking right up to Austin’s in the diamond. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a city break.”

”Such a nice B&B. Despite being a bit away from center, there´s pubs and alcohol-stores very near to visit. Great staff with understandable Irish accent :). I suggest to sleep here when visiting Derry.”

”Hotel is a true four star hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, service professional and the breakfast was excellent, with superb apple juice and nice cheeses. There was also good parking just outside of the hotel. The only downside is the location, if you are not travelling by car. It is not close to city centre and there seems to be nothing but a freeway near by. In that sense it's more like a motel. We were driving, so it suited us well.”

Location is superb for city seeing. Only one down side was a bit noisy neighbours up above our apartment - but that’s not a hotel fault just lack of manners from some. ”

”It is a joy to stay at the Lawrence! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and called after famous Irish patriots, poets and writers. The sitting room is beautifully furnished with a welcoming coal fire and a nice bar for a nightcap. The breakfast is of a high standard. Finally all the staff are so friendly and well trained. ”
