”We've been to Rumbling Bald before so no real 'surprises'. This trip we had a massage, played some tennis, rented a pontoon boat and played pool, at Legends. Cons: wifi is spotty everywhere, twisty/winding roads and limited food choices. The patio furniture was a little worn, there were a few crumbs on the floor upon arrival, and the bed was not comfortable (to us) Pros: Victory Cafe, The Lake House. The views are spectacular and Rumbling Bald has something for everyone. The condo is perfect...

”Casey is super responsive and the listing is 100% accurate. The studio was perfect as it has everything you could need and is comfortable in space. Super clean. Location is a 4 min drive to the Rumbling Bald resort and having a pass to enjoy the resort was amazing. The studio is pet friendly and the restaurants with seating outside are as well which made it even better for us to have a true family stay!”

”We have stayed at Appel Valley Villas a couple times now. Even though the space is small, there’s everything you need. We did notice that the comforter needed to be washed and there were extra pillows but no pillow cases, otherwise no real issues. We will be coming back to visit soon.”

”Wow! My 12 yr. old daughter and I just had the best stay at this property! The Rumbling Bald resort had so much to offer by way of pools, lakeside beach, kayaking, etc. We also enjoyed drives around the lake, local dining and hikes. Such a great time and gracious host. Highly recommend for anything looking for a little R&R in North Carolina's beautiful countryside.”

”We stayed here for a wedding downtown and couldn't be more pleased! It was the perfect location for our different events. The house was spacious, clean, and beautiful, every detail was perfect. The ottoman was large enough for our 3rd guest to sleep comfortably. Our dog enjoyed his stay as well! The host was friendly and quick to respond. Couldn't recommend this place more.”
