”The staff when we checked in was so friendly and helpful. But the lift is not working and their air conditioning is barely working, it’s not good with this weather. But all the staff are friendly and polite.”

”Lovely clean rooms set in a lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. Carpark had plenty of space. The pub/restaurant was fantastic. One of the best steaks I’ve had. I was impressed by the wine list as it had plenty of choice of fantastic wines. Only downside was they stopped serving drinks at 10pm. Much too early to shut shop after you’ve been in the restaurant all evening. Other than that, we were satisfied.”

”This is a fantastic hotel right in the heart of Cardiff and just a quick walk to so many bars, cafes, shops and the Castle. Our room was so lovely. It had a very funky vibe and was beautiful decorated, clean and comfortable. We loved it! The community lounge and deck was also a great addition giving you access to a great hang out area. ”If you just need a bed for the night then this place is OK - but just OK. V small room - like smaller than a Paris hotel room (Cardiff is not Paris!) and no amenities at all - no tea/coffee, no hairdryer - not even a hand towel. Room so small that the TV is up high on the wall opposite the bed and it was almost impossible to bend down in shower to pick up own toiletries it was so small. ”Room was large, comfortable and had everything you need for an extended stay. Contactless checkin instructions were a bit confusing but in the end I got to my room. The room was modern but could have used a deep clean. Hallways were very noisy due to a family in the neighbouring room (otherwise would probably not have been a problem). Onsite laundry room was not as described in the listing - only one washer/drier and no air dryers on loan and the room was not secured (lock broken). The building...
