”The hotel is close to anything you may be planning to do in Ann Arbor. Easy access to the highway and to campus or The Big House, and convenient to shopping and restaurants. The hotel has been completely renovated and the effort to keep it looking fresh and clean is apparent. The rooms are large, and having a fridge and microwave is extremely helpful. The 24 hour coffee and tea service is a plus along with generous hours for breakfast service in the morning.
The staff was very helpful, friendly,...

”The room was comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The temperature stayed where we set it. The blackout curtains were completely successful at darkening the room. There were enough drawers for a 4 day visit's clothing, a desk and chair and a comfortable chair. We didn't use the fridge and mic this time, but they are often welcome.
Two small things: 1. There were no electric outlets on one side of the bed, so I couldn't plug in my phone (thus my alarm clock)...

”Room 157 needs some love, faucet in bathroom sink is loose, moved every time I turned it on,handle on tub faucet was loose made it difficult to adjust temperature of water, was glad there was a safety bar next to the tub,but no safety straps in the tub made it a bit slippery, wife had surgery at U of M hospital and didn't feel like she was safe enough to take a shower. The hotel as a whole was decent, staff was helpful food in the restaurant was good, location to the hospital was good as well,...

”Room very clean; staff incredibly nice especially at the check-in; check-in process very fast; parking nice and lucky to have a spot in front of my room window and so was able to see my car from inside; quieter side of hotel at my request when I told her I was in the hotel in preparation of an exam; she was very helpful. I regret I didn't ask her name; but she was the one at 3PM yesterday Sunday. This morning staff nice too. I didn't interact much with; but I called at 10:38AM for extension at...

”The location of this hotel if you are going to a sporting event of U of M is great. Everything is walkable. If you go uptown it’s a long trek but doable.
The hotel was very clean & staff were very helpful. The free parking on a game weekend was very much appreciated.”

”Room as spacious and clean. Staff were pleasant. Alarm clocks are hard to see by day, and don't light up at night. Surprising a hotel in Ann Arbor doesn't include Big Ten Network on it's TV. The "restaurant" at the bar offered two dinner choices the night I dropped by: A hamburger or one other choice that I don't even remember. The hotel had a power outage my second morning there, so no internet, coffee, hot water, etc. Some lights did work, and one elevator still worked, but that went on...

”A beautiful and unique property, with excellent staff and service. Breakfast was excellent and the wait staff very engaging. Only issue I would present is some very old and grungy grout conditions in the walk-in shower, otherwise I look forward to staying here again.”

”The place was pretty rough - I woke up to a spider in my bed, bugs in the shower. The toilet kept randomly backing up and unflushing whatever was flushed earlier. Most of the room furniture was in bad condition. Just pretty rough.”
