”Super cozy and spacious lodge, amazing hot tub/jets, quite easy to get to, and phenomenal communication/support (easy 10/10 there)! Grill worked wonderfully for cookouts + kitchen in particular pretty much had everything you would want. For the time being, keep in mind it is two full bedrooms and the couch, but the couch is really comfy (one of my friends insisted on the couch over the bedrooms bc it was that comfy), but that wasn't too much of a problem with our group of 4 :) Would love to...

4. The Carriage House- Chic Treetop Loft & Hotub

Grass Valley

”Overall, this was a great little home base to explore the areas of Grass Valley and Nevada City. It was perfect walking distance to pretty much everything in downtown Grass Valley, including shops and restaurants. The area seemed safe, clean, and the neighbors were friendly with us. We loved how the Treetop Loft included a kitchen, laundry, and beyond. That seems perfect for people that like to be outdoors or if you wanted to cook to save some money. Pros: Great location, fair price,...

8. The Gold heart of Grass Valley

Grass Valley

”Fantastic setting, great accommodations, including comfy bed, and kitchenette, able to make my breakfast and lunch perfectly. I could sit on the porch and look at the trees and I even saw deer walking by. It was only a few blocks to the main part of Grass Valley, but felt very rural. When I needed batteries for the remote control for the TV they were delivered quickly. I will definitely come back.”

”Our stay with our pup was amazing! The rental is super clean for 2 people and a dog, and the backyard pool area included everything needed for some fun in the sun! Zero complaints on the spot... a short drive to downtown restaurants like Burning Barrel. Only possible issue you may deal with is a bit of a micro managing host who will spy cam you. Not an issue if you follow the rules, but just a word or warning to not try and throw a party with additional guests.”

”House was impeccably clean. Beds were very comfortable. All amenities were available, like kitchen gear, extra bedding and newly installed appliances and homewares. Our host was attentive, very quick to reply and kind. Great location in Auburn to access shops and main thoroughfare, yet very private, quiet and good neighborhood. I would recommend this house and host for anyone who’s looking for a stress-free and comfortable stay in Auburn.”

”Home was nicely decorated and comfortable. Very cute and clean. My boys enjoyed the basketball court and pickle ball too. We had a little issue with one of the air conditioner wall units and the host was able to get it fixed right away. Short walk to the lake, but be prepared it is uphill almost the entire way back. I suggest driving first to check it out. Overall very enjoyable. We would definitely stay again.”

Grass Valley

”Property is very well kept and the secluded location makes for a slow start to the day with lovely cup of coffee or tea on either porch. My biggest complaint would be that the outdoor tubs were not heating up. There is very little lighting outside so if you want to soak at night, make sure you take your own lanterns or flashlights, and if you are elderly or have a hard time getting in and out of beds that are on the floor or practically on the floor, this might not be the spot for you.
