As a host myself, I don’t say this lightly, but this was an awful stay. The one positive review feels questionable.
No basics: no washcloths, no hand soap, no hand towels & only one cheap roll of toilet paper for an 8-day stay. I arrived to a filthy unit that clearly hadn’t been cleaned. A cleaner was eventually sent, but it left the place reeking of bleach for hours. No apology, no compensation.
The worst part: nonstop partying next door (also her renters). Loud music, drunk teenagers, yelling & fighting right outside my bedroom all weekend, 24/7. They took my designated parking spot. The host did nothing beyond telling me to call the cops, which I had to do repeatedly, along with code enforcement. It would quiet down briefly, then start again. Neighbors were pissed and will lodge a formal request for no more vrbo rentals allowed there.
Kitchen was barely stocked (3 sets of utensils, moldy kettle, one garbage bag).
Bedroom AC didn’t work, making it miserable to sleep as split didn't reach bedroom. Cheap bedding (must be from dollar store?), terrible ikea kids mattress, flat pillows. Bathroom was poorly done by a bad bad handyman & the toilet ran constantly but at least it muffled the party next door a bit.
Cockroaches present. Pool unusable due to the crazy renters next door monopolizing area. Not walkable to anything.
Overall: terrible property, zero accountability, & a host who stops caring once you’ve paid.
Stay anywhere else.
