Hard to access from the busy street. Had to go around the block three times. Was one night stay prior to a cruise. Unfriendly staff. Never made eye contact or smiled. Pics on website not current. Parking dark and seemed unsafe. Room was Numbered in 200’s but was in the basement. Hallways were very old and filthy dirty and stained. All door jams had rusty water drop stains all over them.No view of ANYTHING. Room walls were all bumpy and had layers and layers of very old paint. Everything was dark sienna brown or maroon. Felt like you were in a penitentiary serving time. Room was excessively damp. Entire hotel felt dirty, run down and unsanitary. I didn’t feel it was a safe environment. Pics on website seemed to have been taken long ago. Room I booked did NOT look as pictured. Told them I refused to take the room. They did not apologize and said that I could go. When I asked about them swiping my card they said they would “take care of it.” They never checked me out or anything. I had to ask them for a business card or something for contact information and follow up. Expedia contacted them but wouldn’t commit to refund! I’ll have to pursue BBB if they don’t comply. FLB is full of these unreliable misleading hotels. Recommend you don’t book here and spend TOP DOLLAR at a reputable chain or flagship hotel in area that has standards.
