Rated as "Exceptional" this is a very comfortable and welcoming home with two bedrooms plus den in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, yet located just 8-10 minutes away from the beach and entertainment in Las Olas and within a 10-minute walk from Publix, Walgreens, high-end and quick service restaurants, banks, and anything else you might want or need for a comfortable stay.

Very spacious and full of natural light, the den is arranged as a home office. Hardwood floors, central AC, granite countertop kitchen, and fresh paint in walls, ceiling, and closets. All furniture and furnishings are from 2023.

One bathroom, private backyard with deck, perfect for relaxing afternoons and grilling.

Talon säännöt

No events/parties. No fireworks of any kind. No loud music that may disturb the neighbors. No smoking or vaping. Violations will get a $500 fee.
Do not tamper with or disconnect any element of the security system. Violations will be subject to a fee of $300 per occurrence.
For stays of 7 or more days, trash and recyclables bins must be taken out on Wednesday night (11th street) and must be rolled in on Thursday at noon.

We loved our time at JP's. Absolutely the best example of a host, attentive, polite and detailed. We couldn't recommend higher and the house is perfectly situated in Lauderdale for everything you need. Neighborhood is quiet and safe and just minutes from US1. I’ll start off by saying the nice thing about the property is that it’s in a central location. I would have loved to leave a positive review but unfortunately our experience was not pleasant. There were cockroaches in the kitchen everyday (photo’s attached) which was concerning. The bathtub in the bathroom could use some maintenance because the drain and the overflow drain are both two holes without any covers, which means you can quite literally see inside the tub, and it renders the actual tub unusable so expect to take showers only. The handle on the shower is also incredibly loose and we were scared it was going to completely come off. We also found hair tangled in the fringe of the hand towel provided which was very unpleasant and made us question the cleanliness overall. The area itself is okay, however we did experience a few cars stopping on the opposite side of the property a few times and just linger for a while before eventually driving away when we were outside rinsing off our Scuba gear, which made the area feel unsafe. However there are plenty of outdoor cameras both on the front porch as well as the back porch/garden. The property is close to the beach and some restaurants so it’s easy to get out and explore the area.

what was advertised but.....

little bit of an issue when arrived a property in getting the right code for the lock box. The smoke alarm was beeping so rather than calling property owner we bought 9v and replaced it our self. when we left followed all the instructions cleaned dishes, put away, stripped all beds put in washer, even set thermostat to 78, and took out garbage to curb for pickup. Owner accused us of locking bathroom door and closing it and wanted to charge me $85. We left all the doors open. Also, I took out the additional damage insurance. He is filing the claim now and still sending me the payment request. Seems very Shady. My advice is film everything when you arrive and when you leave.

My sons Jungle

Our time at this property was stellar. As a small family, it fit us very well. I was able to cook and clean as though I was in my own home for the most part. We made use of the kitchen most nights and mornings. My mom enjoyed sitting on the deck in the back to take in the sun and do bubbles with my son. He referred to it as a jungle in the backyard with all of the trees. Although the backyard was under some renovations, a quick google search led us to some local parks and the beach, and JP provided items to make it comfortable (blanket, chairs, towels, and toys!) we were close to a lot of good eateries and a very eclectic area of Ft. Lauderdale. If I found myself back in the area, I would attempt to book with JP again or at least somewhere in this area. Very quiet neighborhood, a dog and walking neighborhood which we really enjoyed being home sick from our own dogs back home. Thank you again JP for providing such a cozy stay for me and my family!

Nice property, great location

We had a pleasant stay at Mockingbird Station. The house was clean and very well stocked. Some minor issues on the house were adressed immediatly by the owner. Locatiion is great, both beach and grocery shopping are in walking distance. Unfortunately the backyard garden is not usable as there is no gras. But the porch infront of the house was a nice place to relax.

Casa aconchegante em excelente localização

A casa é excelente e perfeita para 4 ou 5 pessoas, apesar de ter apenas 1 banheiro. JP é um anfitrião extremamente cordial e solícito. Quando chegamos tudo estava extremamente limpo e arrumado a nossa espera. A casa cheirava bem, a cozinha estava equipada com muitos utensílios e coisas básicas para cozinhar e tinha tudo o que precisávamos para passar uma semana em Fort Lauderdale. Os quartos estavam organizados e arrumados. Algumas toalhas estavam ainda na máquina de lavar, mas isso não foi um problema para nós pois o anfitrião nos avisou e orientou sobre isso. O quintal também tinha passado por uma troca de tubulação de esgoto recente, e estava sem grama, mas o anfitrião fez questão de nos avisar sobre isso antecipadamente e não foi um problema para nós. A localização é perfeita, a poucos metros de vários restaurantes, lojas, academia, farmácias e supermercados. Tivemos dias perfeitos em Fort Lauderdale nesta casa e quando voltarmos tentarei reservar esse local novamente. Recomendo fortemente.

Great location

Very clean and well stocked property. The on-site laundry makes a longer stay wonderful so you don’t have to find a place to do laundry. The back yard is peaceful and is surrounded by large palms so there is a ton of privacy. The neighborhood is also very quiet but is located near everything you and your family may want to do!

Maison agréable

C’est une maison confortable et fonctionnelle dans un quartier tranquille et sécuritaire. Avec une cour et une galerie extérieure qui nous permettaient de profiter de la belle température. Le propriétaire répondait vite à nos demandes et était très sympathique. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour ( 5 semaines ) . Merci !
