”The room was dirty. The small fridge leaked water overnight. The sheets were old and were leaving lint everywhere. The female person at the front desk was very rude. They promise to give us a discount but ended up charging us more.”

”Parking fee!! Be aware! Expedia informed me this would be a $376 stay and I was skeptical when others were saying there is a parking fee they charge and inform you about (they should include this! Being informed of the parking fee upon arrival is ridiculous) When we arrived to the hotel, the front desk personnel informed us there is a usual parking fee but this time around it’s complementary. After our stay, we still weren’t told what the price of the parking fee was. Come to find out it...

”I have stayed here three times in the past year. I am a quasi local. Friendly, clean, safe, local, uncomplicated. Lobby has space to sit and read, cozy fireplace, big windows, for when you want to give your travel companion space. Fresh brewed coffee in the morning, restaurant on site for lunch and dinner and the locals use the restaurant. Pool is heated when open for season, call ahead to confirm. It's a bit old school, you park in front of your room, rooms are updated, super functional but not...

”You can’t beat the location. However the bed had to of been 20 years old, the toilet seat was not secured to the toilet, the fan in the bathroom sounded like a plane taking off. I have epilepsy and a recent knee replacement. There are zero grab bars which I think is against ADA laws in California. If you want a cheap option near the beach this is a good option. I won’t be back however. ”
