And I would much rather deal with outdated decor and some cheap paint overs rather than a luxury hotel with bedbugs, etc. I am high maintenance and would definitely stay here again if I need to work within a budget. ”The staff couldn’t have been nicer! Our suite exceeded our expectations. We were celebrating our 30 year anniversary and they put a sign congratulating us on the wall of the elevator! One of many special touches. The lobby offered refreshing specialty iced tea drinks as well as water, coffee and hot chocolate. ”It was run down a bit but had some charm. Room was clean but tub was a jacuzzi tub with holes where jets use to be. The restaurant “getaway” was excellent and had lots of charm. Deck to view lake como could use some clean up but cannot avoid birds and I guess bird poop but could be cleaned up a bit.”

”The Lodge was under construction when we stayed there so it was a little dusty - mainly outdoors. My room was just off the lobby. The noise from the lobby overflowed to my room until they closed the fire doors. I would recommend they close them earlier ~ 9 pm.”
