  • This beautiful two bedroom penthouse apartment with fantastic river views is positioned in a quiet corner of the scenic and vibrant harbour town of Fowey. With its stylish interior and fantastic balcony the apartment is perfect for couples or families looking to enjoy a magical seaside break in a pretty coastal village setting. Inside you'll discover a superb open-plan living space featuring floor to ceiling glass, and doors that open out on to a large furnished balcony. Glazed balustrades deliver unobstructed views, with an outdoor sofa and chairs making it the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or to watch the sun set, a glass of bubbles in-hand.

Stylish, very comfortable apartment

We loved our first stay in Fowey Penthouse three years ago and were very happy to return to this beautifully appointed apartment for a second visit. It's extremely comfortable accommodation with interesting views, whatever the weather. We appreciated the attention to detail and were grateful for the generous welcome pack. The best aspects of this apartment were the location, free parking and proximity to the centre of Fowey.

Great for a weekend getaway

We were only staying for the weekend and so we didn't want to bring too much luggage, it turns out we could have packed a lot less as the apartment had everything we needed, including toys for the children. The apartment was immaculate, modern but cosy, with a great view from the balcony.

Excellent apartment!

Great apartment in a superb location overlooking the Fowey estuary. An easy walk into town to access all the shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment was super comfortable with everything you would need for a stay in Fowey.

Our Fourth Stay in the Fowey Penthouse

We love staying in the Fowey Penthouse. It has all the fecilities that we need, it has excellent views over the river Fowey. The walk into town is picturesque. The shops in town are very interesting, there are plenty of places to eat and drink. As my teachers always used to say to me, short and to the point! We really enjoy staying there.

A spacious, bright and airy apartment with views over the Fowey River

A lovely penthouse apartment that is very well equipped. Light and airy with views across the river Fowey. Two nice bedrooms, one with an en-suite and a separate family bathroom. Great location and very peaceful in the evenings. Did have a couple of early wake up calls from a seagull banging on the bedroom window! Nice to sit on the balcony and take in the views. Two car parking spaces provided which was brilliant. Would definitely stay here again but warning re stairs. To reach the penthouse there are numerous stairs and doors to contend with so don’t bring a heavy suitcase!

Great place great view

The apartment is well furnished and not cluttered and bright and airy. The appeal to us was the view and the outside space. Great to while away some time people watching. Also, well placed for walking into town. A short stroll. The allocated parking spaces are a huge bonus.

Wonderful stay

Fowey Penthouse was a very relaxing place to stay with every conceivable comfort. It has a view over the estuary towards Boddinnick and there is always something happening on the water. The car parking was very handy Quite a few steps up to the Penthouse may be difficult for some.

Great stay

Great stay in Fowey at the penthouse. Location was very good, balcony was great to sit out in the sun watching the activity on the River. The bean to cup coffee machine was a nice surprise. Bedrooms and bathrooms were good size and comfortable. Two parking spaces was a bonus. Owner has gone to the trouble of providing Spotify, Netflix and a host of games. Would recommend.

Stylish comfortable, perfect Fowey apartments

We loved our stay in the penthouse. Great views, and short walk into the centre of Fowey. Comfortable beds and furniture, everything you could need. Only point I would say is people with walking difficulties would struggle, as it’s on the top floor, a lot of stairs. We would definitely stay again and our friends agreed. Perfect penthouse.

3 rd storey penthouse, but so worth it for the views, and the breeze at night. Despite 2 weeks of 27c daily temperatures, we managed to have the flat cool by the evening.Just the perfect leg stretch in to Fowey for drinks and dinner. Great choice of restaurants and bars nearby.Penthouse well appointed, all the usual kitchenware, including a bean to cup machine. A full rack of spices !!! But no salt and pepper ( we left some ) Balcony great for watching all the yachts, tenders and boats going by , including a large cargo boat head for the quay at Imerys just round the bend. Twin bedroom beds rather narrow so only practical for children unless to link them together as one. I did have to clean the balcony table/ glass and metal frame, to remove green mouldDidn't have enough cleaning materials to do the chair frames, but heigh ho .The stairwell became stiflingly hot, but we managed to open the velux windows to everyones relief .Thank you to our host for the welcome pack.Beautiful flat, light and airy. I would recommend wholeheartedly.

We keep coming back!

This was our second visit and probably won’t be our last! We love the location , slightly out of the centre but a short walk from shops, pubs restaurants and the ferry to Polruan. The apartment is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and lacks nothing. A bit of a trek upstairs with luggage, but it is of course a penthouse! Would highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay in Fowey

Lovely modern top floor apartment with a great view over the river with plenty to watch - ferry, gig boats, sailing boats and let's not forget the carpark. Nice to have a balcony to sit out when sunny. Great location to pop across to the Italian coffee shop and great eateries in town just a short stroll away. Wonderful to have parking onsite. Everything very clean on arrival and loved the cookery books and scrabble board. Great shower in the main bathroom and although we didn't cook meals the kitchen had everything needed. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Excellent high quality dwelling

This penthouse is at the top of the property with views over the river Fowey and the local ferry. Within easy walking distance of most of the town. Really exellent high quality holiday getaway. Fridge freezer, electric induction hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, good quality crockery etc. Bedroom with en suite, second bedroom, bathroom with shower, TV with Netflix and Prime and others, WiFi, balcony with river view. You must be able to climb the 42 stairs to the top, but other than that it is an exellent place, and you don't get a view without being up stairs!

Very pleasant property in a good location

Everything about the property was fine and I would stay here again. The only problem was with the washing machine which didn’t seem to spin the water out of the clothes properly at the end of the washing cycle. If I used the drying programme on its own the damp clothes ended up hot but sopping wet. I used several combinations of programmes throughout the week but to no avail the machine proved to be faulty.
