”The central hotel is a beautiful victorian mansion house. With palacial foyer and opulent dining area and bar. Views across surrounding countryside and out to sea spectacular. We were staying in one of the chalets which have a high standard of decor and comfort, each chalet is surrounded by a large garden and hence has a great deal of privacy. P.S. don't forget to say hello to the tortoise. ”

”The hotel is in a nice location with parking, has a nice garden with seating and a heated pool. The staff at reception were friendly at check in and check out. The room was a good size with a double and single bed and bathroom was good. Room also had a good sized tv with tea and coffee. Only fault is that the walls seemed quite thin so could hear quite clearly talking in the corridor and shutting doors, and there was a stain on the floor. But apart from that the hotel was great value for money! ”

Preis trotzdem etwas teuer, für das Geld haben wir schon in anspruchsvolleren Hotels geschlafen. Insgesamt aber sehr empfehlenswert - Fowey ist ein toller Ort und eine gute Base für tolle Ausflüge. ”

”The proprietors were welcoming and very helpful with dietary intolerances. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was tasty and plentiful, proper food, not that novelle cuisiine nonsense. The beer was well-brewed and truly tasty. The parking was a bit cramped but nothing that any reasonably competent driver could not cope with. We would definitely stay there again.”
