This is one of kind property in this area. Cinque Terre is a region consisting of a few village stuck between the mountain and the Mediterranean Sea, the sharp landscape and views are world-renowned.
The hotel itself is settled in a mountain side, overlooking the sea, the views are stunning. The property consists of bungalows and tents, it is rustic but well thought, and well kept. The swimming pool area is gorgeous, although a 5-10 minute walk depending on what side of the property your room is located. The restaurant serves high end delicious dishes, although pricey and in small quantities, don't expect to be full if you eat there...
The room prices are equivalent to a 5 star hotel anywhere else, and the hotel is remotely located, about a 30 minute drive from the glamorous Ligurian coast, places like Rapallo and Portofino are even further out.
I would recommend Sesta Terra for couples who want to stay in a remote comfortable and quite place, without any needs to move anywhere around, the mountain roads are not easy to drive, and even dangerous at times depending on the weather. The rooms rates are on the higher end, and maybe one should think twice before paying such a price to stay in a wooden cabin...
