”Hotel Hive was perfect for a short stay in Washington, D.C. to see the tourist sites and monuments. We stayed in a Queen Bed (Hive) room, which was just the right size for two people—clean, comfortable, and with a surprisingly spacious bathroom. ”We had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in an amazing location. Very central. Rooms are very spacious. The staff was accommodating as the first room had low shower pressure and the curtains were broken, so we moved to a different room with no issue. They stored my breast milk in their freezer. ”

”Staff at the front desk greeted me warmly. When I shared that it was my first time staying at the hotel (and I visit Washington DC about 12 times a year), I received an automatic upgrade! Free Peleton in the room allowed me to workout in the morning before a full day of meeting. the coffee in the room was SUPERB! Can't tell you how relaxing it is to have a cup of fresh brewed decaf - so delicious - before rest! I can't wait to bring my husband!”

    "Old, worn down hotel with very uninspired people. The first room I was given was terrible quality and so loud with street noise it was impossible to sleep. I was forced to pay for an upgrade to a "club" floor, which is basically the same room but comes with free soda, as it was the only room available that wasn't facing the street. IMO I should not have been charged for that. Overall this is a 2-star hotel and I would avoid it if you can find any other options. It's about a 30min walk to Georgetown, decently safe although some shady people in the streets nearby. If you're considering taking this as a base to explore Georgetown, I'd recommend you to think again. "
