”I had a decent stay overall. The room was clean, and the AC worked well, which made it comfortable during my visit. The only downside was that the room could really use an additional mirror—it would’ve made getting ready a lot more convenient. Aside from that, everything was pretty solid.”

”The breakfast was very basic: waffles, cereal, oatmeal packs to make, there was some fresh fruit, and coffee. The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. It is an older hotel, but it was updated. For the price and my one night stay it was comfortable. I will return when passing through.”

”Pay the price to stay somewhere else. The hotel is run down and in need of a complete remodel. I had to ask for clean sheets as ours had stains on them. I did a check of the mattress and there were stains all over it. I regret spending the amount of money I spent for this stay and when we come back to Gainesville, this hotel will be avoided.”

”This was the worst motel I've ever stayed at. The room was horrible, I took a shower and slept in a chair. There were burn holes in the bed, couldn't lock the bathroom window, and front door lock was very unstable. I was afraid of being robbed. Entry into the hotel was a dirt alley, staff were rude.”

” The neighborhood is not all that safe. The bed was very squeaky needs replacement ”

”Bathtub has red stains in it so we requested a different room. We encountered the same problem...just not as many red stains. Unfortunately, construction on the freeway made it difficult to find the inn...dont rely on Marques name of exit to the inn. A bright parking lot light interfered with our sleep and the curtains were insufficient to block the bright light. We would have appreciated a warning from the staff about the difficulty finding the place as they mentioned they were aware of...

”Staff at reception wasn't as welcoming as almost everywhere else, not rude but got the vibe of "what are you doing in here". Also gave us the room from the furthest corner of the building, felt like there was something personal although wouldn't know why. But otherwise everything was ok, nice and clean room but a bit outdated. Pool was nice.”

”I cannot express what a wonderful experience it was to stay at this property The lodging was impeccable. The staff was professional and courteous. The complementary breakfast was delicious. Their room was spotless and comfy. 10 out of 10 Stars”

”The couch in my room had a big dip in it and it was very hard to get out of the hotel was clean, but it needed a lot of TLC. I asked when I got to the front desk if I could get a hotel room close to the main lobby or the elevator if we had to go on another floor and she told me no that my room was down by the exit door.”

”I was going to stay here for the Germanfest Bike Rally, because the first place selected was horrible. However, this is too far from Meunster, TX. Stay in Gainsville, TX is you plan on attending the Germanfest in Meunster, TX. This cleanliness of this place was 5-6/10 and not worth the $ for the additional time in the car to the Germanfest.”
