”After having stayed here before, I was looking forward to staying here again. Clearly, the change in ownership has meant an unfortunate change in standards. I did not anticipate dirty windows on the inside of the panes, a hole in the bottom sheet, a very worn and uncomfortable chair, no extra blanket in the cold room, a desk chair that was almost impossible to move, very dim lighting limiting the ability to read, necessary information in an unlabeled book on the desk, info in that book suggested...

”Initial impressions: very helpful staff, clean , easy parking (discounted if you’re a HH member) Booked this hotel because of a concert at Bluestone and it’s somewhat of a walkable distance. We still Uber’d because it was pouring rain. Price range was right under $200 for a Friday night. King size rooms are very spacious , modern and clean. ”Our stay was excellent. The breakfast was awesome! Tracy was very helpful. The house is really cute and the room was well maintained. I highly recommend staying here! ”

”Property was as described, comes with all listed amenities, bed upstairs was the only room I used for my solo trip (way too big for a single person but would be amazing for a large group)! Parking was ok, just read the ok placed to park and send them your vehicle info asap. Check in was smooth, check out smoother. Only slight critique is even with the ac going at 66 degrees the upstairs felt hot still and warm, they do have a fan as an additional circulator but still was warm. Some of the towels...

”There was coffee but no coffee maker. There was a part of the ceiling that was peeling from what looked like an old leak near the bathroom. The couch was very small and uncomfortable so there were no good seating areas that were comfortable besides the table which only had 4 chairs. Then the bathroom shower was absolutely tiny. The shower was so small it was almost impossible to shave your legs. The beds were comfortable but one of the sheets had a stain on them. The location is nice.”

”We stayed there overnight after a day-long event at the statehouse. Check-in in was fast and pleasant--the staff is super-helpful and friendly. During check-in, we received a token for a welcome drink--great perk especially after wrapping up a long day! We stayed in a king-bed suite: we loved the modern and sophisticated design of the room and the spacious bathroom with separate tub and shower. Since we were staying on the eighth floor, we were just steps from the rooftop bar, Brass Eye. Dinner...

”Location, location, location! walkable to convention center & great restaurants downtown. The bed was incredibly comfy & the inclusion of 3 levels of firmness of pillows was amazing & very appreciated. Communication from beginning to end was proactive, professional & seamless. Looking forward to return trips. FYI - it’s an original downtown building so stairs to 2nd floor reflect that - just adds to the charm. TV is Google based so be sure to have your logins ready.”

”Super clean, well decorated, has conveniences that are thoughtful in every Jungle House location, nice fluffy towels. This property was pretty run down, but compared to other places we've stayed in the area, it is really nice to have the amenities. Great location.”
