”Diese Unterkunft war einfach nur fantastisch! Wir wurden mit so einer Gastfreundschaft von Elmarie empfangen und alles war einfach super. Das liebevoll hergerichtete Frühstück, die schönen Zimmer mit einem riesen Bad, der schöne Pool mit den Liegen, die Umgebung und auch die weiteren Angestellten waren alle top. Auch ist es sehr ruhig da und man kann sich echt entspannen.”

”Spacious and very comfortable rooms in a delightful property. Excellent staff, if a little too formal / deferential at times. Only thing I can score it down for is attention to detail on housekeeping -teapot and cup not cleaned away one day. Stairs and hall carpet needs a vacuum. Would recommend especially for the tranquility. ”

”Siisti ja viihtyisä majatalo hyvällä paikalla. Itse hotellirakennuksessa on 8 huonetta ja oma pieni uimalallas. Meidät majoitettiin kuitenkin viereiseen taloon, missä oli vain yksi huoneisto ja henkilökunnan tiloja. Meillä oli oma pieni uima-allas käytössämme ja auton sai parkkiin omalle lukitulle pihalle. Aamiais tilaus käytiin noutamassa, kun halusimme ja aamiainen tuotiin huoneeseen. Ystävällinen omistaja ja henkilökunta. Hyvä sijainti korttelin sivussa pääkadusta, jonka kulmassa todella kiva...

”We had a wonderful stay at the Last Word. Franklin, Conrad and the whole team couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome, at home and offered to help with all aspects of our trip plans. The hotel decor and facilities surpassed expectations. We had an amazing few nights sleep, the room felt very premium and the bathroom was incredible! Overall, we felt the hotel was worth far more than what we paid and can’t wait to return!”

”Wow, where do I begin? This stunning, intimate property in the heart of Franschhoek is absolutely perfect for couples! The staff are incredibly welcoming, polite, and professional. The food and beverage, on point. Although we had some noisy neighbors on our first night (not the hotel’s fault, so no complaints there), we slept wonderfully. ”Amazing property! Rooms were extremely well prepared. Free bottle of wine and a cheese board upon arrival. Bottles water and a prepared log fire. Breakfast was freshly prepared and served in the terrace overlooking the gardens. I will be returning. ”
