”The vineyards were beautiful and the pool so quiet and peaceful and heated. The breakfasts were incredible. The location was central and parking was easy. There was an amazing coffee shop inside an old windmill house. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Franschhoek. ”

”We loved our stay at La Villa Retreat! Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!”
