”We had a wonderful stay at The Last Word in Franschoek. Great location which gave us the ability to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and beautiful. The service was above and beyond. Rooms were so comfortable we made ourselves right at home. Our own pool, sitting room, and even a mat to work out with. ”

”Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. Lovely little touches such as a bed turndown, message on our pillow, slippers, hot and cold drinks always available and a beautiful bracelet as a parting gift. ”The property is excellent and well maintained throughout. The staff cannot be nicer and were a joy to be around. Heated floors in the bathroom are just one of the smaller fine touches. Small but enough selection for breakfast. ”

Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!”

Meidät majoitettiin kuitenkin viereiseen taloon, missä oli vain yksi huoneisto ja henkilökunnan tiloja. Meillä oli oma pieni uima-allas käytössämme ja auton sai parkkiin omalle lukitulle pihalle.
