”Old, worn out furnishings. Tub finish gone so I did not use the tub. Tiles cracked and needed calking. Heat very noisy, hard to sleep. Clean room, pleasant staff. Not a do again.”

”Loved the feel of this historic hotel. The staff was great at both breakfast and check in. Temperature control in the room was a challenge and would have appreciated a little more communication on cleaning the room for our 2 night stay. Overall, our visit was very good. We would return. ”

”Excellent value. Clean, quiet, attentive staff, good heat/a/c unit that functioned perfectly, wonderful bed/bedding, shower - very comfortable in all the ways that matter to me. Dated wallpaper, very marginal lighting in the room. Some trouble with the wifi, but not sure if that was a hotel problem or a me problem. Very good price for a generally very trustworthy hotel night. Will stay again when coming through this way.”

Additionally, the door handle felt unclean, raising serious concerns about overall sanitation. We requested a room change, which was accommodated, but unfortunately the second room did not meet basic cleanliness standards either.
