I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this trip. The room and resort were beautiful, the grounds were nicely kept, the food was delicious, everyone was kind. Disclaimer: this is a peaceful environment to RELAX. If you’re looking for a party place where you’re drinking by 8am and eating till you’re sick this is not the place for you. Meals are at scheduled times from 7am to 10pm and follow a restaurant menu style; not a buffet. I never felt like I didn’t have enough to eat. There are daily boat shuttles that take you to and from the beach. It is about a 10 minute walk mostly uphill should you choose. I am young and fit. If you do not identify with those words please wait for the shuttle and spare the staff your complaints. The beaches were clean and swimmable and I did not notice any seaweed issues. You can also swim right off of the dock of the resort. They offer shuttle services for nearby activities and can also schedule you a private shuttle if you want to go off on your own. I would definitely come back.

All rooms have a plunge pool. Ours was clean, comfortable and had an amazing view. The food was great and staff were wonderful. The resort was quiet and peaceful and a great place to relax. Activities were offered and we enjoyed them all.

We were unable to reach our destination because all flights from the United States to the Caribbean were canceled following U.S. military action in Venezuela and the capture of its leader and his wife. This was a completely uncontrollable, force-majeure situation. We attempted multiple times to contact the hotel to cancel our reservation, but our request was denied and we were told no refund would be issued. The lack of flexibility and basic customer support in response to an act-of-God event is extremely disappointing. It is pathetic how such money hungry individuals would take this approach rather than showing understanding or encouraging future business, the hotel chose a rigid, money-driven approach. We will never consider booking with this hotel again and strongly advise others to do the same. Given this experience, we can only imagine how issues would have been handled had we actually arrived at the resort.

The property was very nice overall. We would have appreciated better transportation options to allow us to go off campus at times. The gentleman who provided boat transportation to and from the beach was extremely kind and personable. The young lady at the front desk was also very warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about Antigua. It would have been nice to have more snack options and menu variety, as well as the ability to grab food to go when we didn’t want to dine out. The pool was colder than expected—we would have preferred it to be a bit warmer. We really enjoyed the dock, especially being able to walk out at night, and the kayaks were a great amenity. The side beach was still swimmable; while the seaweed was a bit annoying at times, it was still beautiful and easy to find good spots in the water. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Small quiet resort. Staff was amazing and friendly. The staff created a personal experience by seeing the same staff members daily. Food was good and didn't have complaints. Room was clean and no issues. The resort needs to be more clear that they are more conscious of plastic waste. So you only get two water bottles in your room that you have to go to the main lobby to fill with filtered water if you're out. Mini fridge only had a bottle of champagne and was not stocked with beers or sodas. Not an issue on our stay as we brought refillable metal water bottles. They only have two kayaks and no paddle boards. So we did not utilize the kayaks out in the bay as most the time there was only a single kayak left for the two of us. So maybe next time. Overall for a quiet relaxing resort we look forward to coming back.

We had a wonderful stay and found the hotel to be incredibly relaxing from the moment we arrived. The surroundings are peaceful and beautifully kept, making it an ideal place to truly unwind. The staff were lovely and welcoming throughout our stay, always attentive and friendly. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and the private pool was absolutely fantastic — a real highlight and perfect for relaxing in complete privacy. The hotel and gardens are clearly very well maintained, which adds to the overall sense of calm and quality. The meals were nice and well prepared; however, we would have loved to see a few more local Caribbean dishes on the menu to really reflect the destination. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel as a place to take a few days off to “pull the plug,” relax, and recharge. It’s perfect for downtime, after which it would be easy to combine with stays elsewhere for beaches and more activities.

This hotel has a beautiful view and it’s very secluded. I enjoyed my stay, however it did not feel like a five star experience as the cleanliness in the room could’ve been better. My dishes in the room were dirty. Also, the food was just OK. Overall, I would give it a 7/10. Still had a good time, but it could’ve been better. Sushi boat was disappointing but thankfully, they took it off of our bill

Something else. We had room issues st night dealing with bugs and animals. My main concern is Expedia did not contact to confirm my return flight. I left out of BWI on a round trip and the return flight was for DCA. I contacted the Airline and Expedia and no one helped resolve the situation.

This was our second stay at this resort. The property changed hands in the meantime. The new management reduce the manpower, the food offering and the overall maintenance. Unfortunately in doing so, this resort which is located in a beautiful area is only gonna fall further behind. Slowly, the resort is falling behind in many ways. While it is still good, it is not where it once was only a few months ago. We first came to this resort in March 2024. Some of the staff are still outstanding but others are new. There are more mosquitoes around and I wonder if fumigation is still done regularly. All in all, this resort is still good but it is certainly not excellent as it once was indeed. We will not go back to this resort unfortunately. Thank you.

This room with the attached pool and daybed was what we were looking for. My wife enjoyed the use of the outdoor tub the most. Other hotels on the island lacked these amenities, this is why we chose this hotel for our stay. The room was immaculately clean, this includes the bed, sheets, shower, and toilets. Restaurant service and food quality left something to be desired. The restaurant staff seemed unprepared at times and unorganized at others. The lone restaurant serves all 3 meals, breakfast options are the same each day with a different special each day. The food quality was sub-par to what I am accustomed to/expect for the price point. I don't advise getting any of the food centered add-ons (floating breakfast, sushi, etc), until someone else can affirm the food gets better. On our last night we decided to get the steak regardless of the added surcharge and it was very disappointing. It was the cheapest and thinnest cut of meat and was woefully overcooked. Your experience may be different, hopefully. I advise getting to the allocated meal hours early as possible, that's when we got the best service. We did the "Blissful Escape" couples massage - I enjoyed my session (Shout out to Nadia), my wife who's accustomed to getting massages at the spa wasn't all that impressed. It comes down to personal preference and the masseuse you get/request. If you're driving there's ample parking, your vehicle and belongings are safe as it is a gated access with 24hr security.

The room was clean, the amenities were great, the food was fantastic, and the staff were courteous and took great care of us—no complaints at all. Just watch out for the mosquitoes.

Pros: Nonsuch Bay is a retreat for nature lovers and persons, wanting peace and quiet. The rooms were beautiful, impeccable and very clean. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The food was delicious. Cons: front desk is not 24 hours. There is no room service and you couldn’t bring food back to your room. The food quantity was very small (European sizes). I personally didn’t have a problem with the serving sizes, but other persons in my party left feeling unsatisfied.There is no nightlife entertainment except a small bar. Parking was limited. We were given 2 water bottles. I know it’s a clean resort and I understand that, but if we wanted more water, we had to keep going to reception to get water from a water cooler or you can buy your own case of water at the store (was irritating to keep going back and forth to get water). If anybody ever watched a British show called (Death in Paradise) that is what Nonsuch Bay reminds me of that TV show. If You Know, You Know!!! From that aspect I loved the resort; because I love that show, so much. Needs more Nightlife Entertainment, Activities, Room Service. I came to the conclusion that this Resort is owned by persons from the U.K. Don’t take my word for it, Try it out for yourself!!!
