”Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not...

”Purbeck house hotel is right in the town and close to everything. However, once inside and in the gardens, it is so tranquil, a perfect stay. Staff so helpful and friendly and meet requests and enquiries with a smile. Room was comfortable and clean and all you need for a stay. Varied continental breakfast, perfect. We will definitely return.”

”Easy to find, easy to park and always a warm friendly welcome. Room has everything I need, having a fridge is particularly good. No disturbance from busy main road, Indian restaurant next door is excellent. I stay here every 6-8 weeks for work, always relaxing.”
