Our hosts Nick and Manou were extremely friendly, accommodating and shared their wealth of knowledge to assist us in navigating this stunning area of Spain. ”This property is beautiful and perfectly designed to accommodate three families. However there is a problem with the hot water system. Master bedroom has no shower available because of the water pressure so had to use another bathroom. Getting hot water was haphazard Everywhere in the property.”

The kids loved the pool - the adults too :) - plenty of space for all of us: spacious and peaceful rooms and multiple dining options. The location is really quiet, but Frigliana and Nerja are only 5 minutes by car. Great hike from the house to Frigliana through the Rio Higuerion. Quick communication from the owner who was very thoughtful and cooperative! I highly recommend staying here”

”Absolutely beautiful home in the mountains! We had a family of four and had plenty of space. The home interior and exterior are beautiful and pictures don't do it justice. It was April and while the pool was open it was very cold given the time of year, but kids still jumped in. The owner provided some bread, meats, cheese, water and beer. Be prepared for a 15 minute drive from town and bring your own food prior to arriving. Coordinating arrival was a bit tricky but we did arrive on a holiday...

”We enjoyed our stay at Villa Ana Y Garcia. The villa was cleaned to a very high standard. But we felt that only providing 3 toilet rolls for 6 people was very unsatisfactory. The third bathroom is located at the pool area on the lower level which meant 2 of our family had to leave their bedroom, go out and down to the pool area to use the toilet and shower facility. We selected the villa because it identified 3 bathrooms so this was a little disappointing to discover that one of them was not...

”We stayed in Oct 23. The villa is as described and pictured on VRBO and it was very clean and comfortable. The highlights are the external areas with great outdoor eating areas, pool (which although unheated was at a very comfortable temperature) and gardens. There have been comments that the downstairs bedrooms are not airconditioned but they were fine when we stayed. There is space for two cars to park off road but I do feel you do need a car here. Nerja and Frigiliana are both very close and...

”Delightful house and garden, and Stephen is a most genial and helpful host. The only improvements would be a new gas hob, as two rings now not working properly, and more glasses and mugs. Stephen generously gave us some cash to buy more mugs when we ran short! A few more replacement lightbulbs would also be ideal. But again, lovely place and superb host.
