”This property truly exceeded our expectations. The grounds are huge and beautiful...you could spend hours just relaxing particularly in the swinging 'egg chairs'! Distance from Front Royal was just perfect at 10 to 15 minutes. The real surprise though was the size of the cottage. ”Home was clean and looked like it had recently been remodeled/updated. The host was very responsive and when the oven wasn't working properly, they went to Lowes and purchased a new one immediately! Made our short trip much easier not having to eat out or find a last minute option for our kids/babysitter on Friday evening. ”Matt is an awesome host! This place is perfect for 2 families traveling together (fully furnished upstairs & downstairs), or 1 family wanting extra space. The hot tub is an absolute must in the fall/winter for maximum relaxation. LOVED the fire table & Blackstone grill. Very nice remodeling & appliances. Cool arcade console! Could not manage to get the fireplaces to work however.”

”This was a great location very close to the Shenandoah Skyline Drive entrance and all that the park and river had to offer. For us it was hiking and tubing. The place was peaceful as we walked our dogs in the AM, and the area neighbors were very friendly. The house was a perfect size for my family of 5 and 3 dogs. If you stay at this location i recommend bringing extra towels, and extra paper towels. I would have liked to see a pet gate for the deck considering the yard fencing is not closed...
