Public footpath to High Barn This photograph shows a view of the public footpath (initially a track) that goes to High Barn and then on to Intake Farm where it terminates. The track shown in the foreground of the picture leads to a disused quarry, the entrance to which can just be seen on the left - beyond the electricity pole. The picture was taken under misty conditions looking in a north-north-westerly direction towards High Barn.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was really good. Room too warm for us personally even with window open. Bathroom fixtures (bath/shower fittings) could do with being updated/modernised. Overall pleasant stay.

Outstanding place! Lovely and well done out with all you need, great communication from the host. Easy to find, parking right outside the door. Well equipped kitchen and comfy bed. Definitely use again. Didn’t use the pub 150 yards away sadly.
