”The hotel is a little older but very very clean. The rooms have a great view of Mt. Fuji. She was a bit shy during our short stay but we did manage to get a glimpse of her from our room. This place does not have an elevator but staff will carry your bags to your room for you. The standout here is the staff who were so friendly and welcoming compared to the bigger fancy hotels. We would stay here again just because of the lovely staff. ”

”This is the small hotel that they use the exterior for the Netflix drama series “ Hot Spot”. The interior is much more spacious than what we see in the TV show. ”Rooms were lovely and the views were incredible. The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. We enjoyed the dining and activities on site immensely. A word of caution: the resort is a fair distance away from Kawaguchiko and it was difficult for us to find taxis consistently. So if you plan on staying primarily at the resort it’s not a problem but if you’re a “get out and about” type of traveler be prepared. ”

”Nestled up on the way to Mt Minobu, it's close to Kuonji Temple and the Ropeway, which you can reach on foot (though there is a bit of an incline.)
