Located right on the main restaurant street of Funchal old Town above a shop that sells rubber ducks, and perfectly located to be within easy walking to all facilities of the town centre, this spacious one-bedroom apartment is furnished to a high standard in a contemporary décor.
Featuring a fully equipped modern kitchen, dining table and a sitting area with a sofa bed (1,40m wide for the third person) the spacious open plan living area leads to the separate bedroom and shower room. The bedroom with double bed (1,40 wide) and built in wardrobes opens to the bijou traditional balcony overlooking the rear patio with a table and two chairs.
Cafés, restaurants, attractions, monuments, museums, and other facilities, as well as the market, cable car, marina, sea-front promenade, public gardens, and shopping centres are all within easy walking distance.
This apartment is located on the first floor, accessible via a set of stairs.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:
Leaving the airport take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).
Leave the via rapida at exit 12 signposted Funchal/Campo da Barca
This exit takes you into a loop passing under the motorway and to a T-Junction with a set of traffic lights.
Turn left at the traffic lights and keep to the left.
At the next set of traffic lights, enter the tunnel and drive down towards town.
Go across the next 2 set of traffic lights, then move to the left hand lane and stay in that lane.
Go across the next 2 sets of traffic lights, always keeping in the left lane.
Keep driving on this road for about 2.6 kilometers until you reach the traffic lights before Praça da Autonomia.
On Praça da Autonomia take the 3rd exit and keep yourself on the right lane, go around the building and you will find the entrance to the car park.
In the apartment you wil find a card that allows you free parking at this car park.
You will have to park temporarily (cost of the first parking paid by you) and make your way to the apartment.
Please follow the check-in instructions detailed above, retrieve the free parking card from the apartment and return to the car park to take the car out (paid by you) and park inside again using the free parking card.
