This flat is located on the ground floor of a renovated cultural space, decorated with African-inspired details and references to 1950s Tarzan movies. The interior combines cultural elements with practicality, modernity, and comfort. It accommodates up to 4 people, featuring a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with shower, a living room with a sofa bed, and a well-equipped open-plan kitchen with dining area. Both the bedroom and living room have access to a balcony. The building has a common entrance, lift access, and is situated on Rua Ivens, behind the Funchal Municipal Garden, close to major city attractions, restaurants, shopping, and cultural sites.

Wi-Fi is available throughout. There is no private parking.

AREA
Located in Rua Ivens, behind the Municipal Garden and a minute’s walk from the Municipal Theatre Baltazar Dias, the property is within walking distance of Funchal’s main attractions, restaurants, bars, museums, the Cathedral, Marina, and Santa Catarina Park. The city centre offers information on a variety of activities, from cultural to nature-related.

GETTING AROUND
Transfers can be arranged with local partners (cheaper than airport taxis). The address is easily found using navigation apps if you rent a car.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY
Guests have access to all areas of the property.

INTERACTION
Support is available at all times. An app is provided with property and local information.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- All guests must present valid ID (passport or identity card) as required by Portuguese law.
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance (at least 48 hours prior).
- Bed linen and towels are provided. Baby cot, high chair, and baby bath available on request. The property is equipped with a first aid kit, extinguishers, and fire blanket.

ATTENTION
A municipal tourist tax of €2.00 per person/night (aged 13+), up to 7 nights (€14 max per person/stay), will be charged. Payment is made via a link provided at check-in.

HOUSE RULES

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.

The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels for safety reasons only. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. If abnormal levels are detected, you may receive a message from our team.

In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration.

A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights).

Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and a fee.
Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and a fee.
