”I want to start by saying that the hotel staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the condition of our room did not meet our expectations. When we arrived, the room was noticeably dusty, and the sheets, duvet, and mattress protector all had multiple stains. ”This was a really mixed experience. On the one hand the room was great - big and spacious and well appointed. I really appreciated some of the details like the quick boiling SMEG kettle and the mini fridge. But on the other, the general service was really lacking. I had a disappointing experience during check-in (not with me but with watching another customer being poorly looked after), and things didn't really improve from there. ”It is a beautiful property and the rooms are really nice and spacious. Location is great. One elevator out of two has been out of service for a while. Our room never got serviced during the day despite leaving a message to do so, at the front desk in the morning. We were delayed in arriving by a day due to flight cancellations, but the property manager refused to refund one night's charges. It is a wonderful property and I wish we received better service, so that I could give it 5 stars.”
