Cabin in the Cove - Boathouse - Dog Friendly

Open concept with hardwood floors throughout. Convenient to local restaurants and shops. Guntersville State Park is approximately 5 miles away. Boat ramp is about 1 mile away. Relax in the open kitchen/living area or the screened in porch. If sun is what you are looking for then there is a sun deck down at the boathouse. The Cabin also has several open decks to enjoy the outdoors. The Cabin can sleep up to 7 people. There's a queen size bed in the master bedroom and four twin beds in the other 2 bedrooms.

Use of the Boathouse is included with The Cabin. You will have access to 1 large boat slip with an electric lift for your use. There are tie ups available on the outside of the boat house. There is power and water at the boat house.

Owner is not responsible for personal injury or property damage but you are welcome to utilize the boat house and decks. Swim at your own risk.

The boat and watercraft toys (skis, tubes, kneeboards, etc..) are NOT available for use.

You must contact us directly and receive confirmation prior to using the kayaks or fishing tackle. The rental rate is $20 for each kayak for the duration of your stay and can be invoiced thru VRBO or paid via Paypal.

However, the Lily Pad, life jackets, and floats are for your enjoyment. Water level at the boathouse is around 4-5 feet. No diving.

House was very comfortable, host has her home as if she would be living there. A few extra things most don't do - kleenex in bedrooms and den, hand soap in bathrooms and kitchen, small bars of soap and tooth paste just in case you for got them. The kitchen fully supplied with all the dishes, glasses, pots and pans you would need.Plenty of room on the enclosed porch and the extra deck out side.The boat house was great to put our boat in. We did not expect the narrow street to get to the house, and the drive way was very steep, had a little trouble turning our boat around in the drive. (we have a 21foot boat).Enjoyed our stay, very relaxing and quite.

Everything was very nice and well organized. Kitchen was completely furnished with everything needed. Also beds were extremely comfortable. Only adverse comment would be all the stairs to get to the boathouse 46 in total. There were multiple landings just I’m older with bad knees and that made things a little difficult.

Great place to stay the house was clean. They had extra blankets and pillows. The kitchen was stocked better than any place we’ve ever stayed and thank you for that. Loved the boat house and outside screened in porch and sitting area. The house I would rate a 10 and not a 5 star if I could rate it that way. Would highly recommended this place. It was also quite and peaceful.

The house and property were perfect. The owners do a great job maintaining and stocking the house. Being able to put the boat on the lift in the enclosed boathouse was a huge plus especially since it snowed on the first full day there. The property is perfectly located close to town but yet very separated, quiet and peaceful.
