Every space in this home has its own theme/color, and some even have a name associated with them!
Bedroom #1 // Hummingbirds Room // Aqua :
This room boasts magical rainbow cascading light with a hand painted galaxy ceiling. Make your childhood wanderlust come true in a king size bed with a fluffy duvet and many pillows. This rooms windows gaze out to the side and backyard for maximum natural light. You’ll also find a hammock that can be strung across the room, along with a humidifier and air purifier for whatever your lungs desire. Cozy basics such as a full length mirrors, dresser, and closet are also found in this room.
Bedroom #2 // The Zen Den // Metallic :
Welcome to maybe the most interesting item in this house. A traditional “Opium Bed” from the 1800s, made of rose and teak wood, completely wood-jointed, and with marble inlay. This is THE throne of sleep with its fine woodwork and elegance. This bed is a Queen and also comes with a fluffy duvet and a soft set of pillows. We have strung this bed in fairy lights that have a variety of settings. This room takes on more of a den-like nature. There is a single pair of windows that look out to the back yard with room darkening curtains and closet for storing clothes.
Living Room // Blue :
The Living Room, also known as the Ocean themed Flow room is one for everyone. This is a modular space with blue walls featuring a cast iron wood stove, 100” projector screen + projector connected to Roku streaming services, large couch, back jacks, woven poufs, and a nesting table for floor seated meal time. This space has a large variety of lighting options. From the hard-wired dimmable editions, the LED strip ceiling perimeter, to the cool-toned blue lamps - you can set the vibe however you like. There is also a gold dance pole that connects this room to the Dali Room for your fun-having pleasures.
The Dali Room // Yellow :
The Dali Room is named after the collage of Dali prints on one wall facing a sun bursting mirror mosaic on the adjacent wall. This room is an extension of the living room and is what used to be the dining room. We take a much more eastern approach to our housing and therefore have prioritized floor/movement space over furniture. Instead you will find a red velvet floor futon which acts as a 3rd bed or a Thai massage mat.
The Room of Muses // Exposed Wood :
This room holds many worlds for you to get lost in - books, writing tools, flow toys, plus a piano and other instruments alike. This room has two walls that were fabricated by DuendeBuilds using up-cycled wood for a very geometric experience that dances into a more organic and artistic expression.
Kitchen // Purple :
An entire room just for cooking! Spacious and an incredibly stocked kitchen! All stainless steel appliances and a plethora of cooking ware. There is also a french press and coffee grinder for your morning coffee. Toaster, microwave, dishwasher and kettle to make tea at our fully stocked tea bar.
Bathroom // Cream :
Pebble floored bathroom with a stained-glass rotating light fixture. Copper foiled fixtures as we couldn’t help but try to make them match the ceiling. Sparkles shine from the floor grout for that extra bit of magic. During the day, the entire bathroom washes with rainbow light for an extra magical bath tub experience (if you so wish.)
Connecting Room // Red :
This room is simply a connecting room to all sleeping spaces, but it may be the most important yet. We consider it the heart of this home as it houses our glass display case of sentimental and absolutely gorgeous earthly wares. Crystals, glass, and metals adorn this portal of mirrors for you to get lost in. Please be mindful when walking by as to keep everything in one piece.
Laundry Room // Orange :
Private laundry room available during your stay with washer and dryer! Though attached to the house, it must be accessed by a small walk through the back yard.
Porch + Backyard:
Our largly fenced in private backyard features a large porch and tropical oasis. At night the yard can be lit up with market lights by a single plug. This private space hosts a large sunk-in-the-ground fire pit and outdoor shower. It should be noted that there is a pond in both the back and front yard and that though this is an private fenced in back yard, this is not a “fully” enclosed space. We also ask that you watch your step and use at own risk if you decide to use the porch outside of the screened in area as there is no railing.
Parking available for 2 cars comfortably, 3-5 cars if you stack and use street parking.
Guest access
Within the house there are two rooms that are locked off. The first one being to the left of the bathroom door, and the second one being the door that is connected to the kitchen.
On the property, guests have access to the entirety of the front, side, and back yard. Access is not permitted past the fence line in the back yard, nor in the greenhouse in the back right.
