Gator Pool House is a fully remodeled, beautiful house, on a quiet, private cul de sac. The house is 1.5 miles from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

The house has a private, screened-in, large pool and hot tub. It has the perfect gas fireplace that will take the chill off on those cooler evenings.

The house was nicely renovated and clean. However, we experienced several problems:1. The house was far from the location advertised on Vrbo. The advertised location is much better because it's walkable. The actual location isn't walkable at all. I reported this discrepancy to the owner over a week ago, and the wrong location is still shown on Vrbo.2. The hot tub never worked properly.3. The kitchen is not well stocked. The only cookware is nonstick pots and pans that are scratched up.4. Communication was bad. I tried using both Vrbo messaging and the phone number provided at the house. Some messages never got a response. Others got "we'll let the property manager know," but then problems weren't resolved.5. There's one thin cotton blanket on each bed and no extras. It's a nice blanket but insufficient.We picked this house because of the hot tub and the location advertised on Vrbo, so we were very disappointed. Overall, I'd give the house 3.5 stars and the service 1 star.

We have stayed at this home two times now. The 8 man crew loves the place and the management team is very responsive for being offsite. Our Crew has requested that they have this place again on the next trip back to Gainesville.

Fantastic home. Fantastic amenities. The size of the house was awesome and the pool-hot tub area is very well done. One small thing: in a perfect world, it would have been nice to have a tv or two in the bedrooms, but overall, my stay was great! Highly recommend.

From the moment we opened the door until the day we left, we were so happy with our stay here. The pictures do not do this house justice! We had plenty of room! It was clean and beautiful. The communication with the property manager regarding the heater for the hot tub was always answered promptly. I would definitely stay here again!

Necessary Stay

My daughter had surgery so we needed a place to stay from Iowa. We wanted a pool and hot tub. Beautiful place, well kept and guest conscious. We were a bit confused about the pool/hot tub heating but didn’t take away from our schedule. Such a big house I would have liked a broom to clean up any messes. I would absolutely stay again!! Thank you for accommodating out additional day.
