”The Hotel is lovely and old, very warm and very clean. The pool was amazing, soo clean and never busy. The best thing about this Hotel though, is the staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Loved Jo in the restaurant and can’t wait to come back. ”

”The location was brilliant. There was good equipment in the kitchen and the sitting room was comfortable with a great tv. Others have mentioned the water is a bit temperamental but it didn’t affect our stay. I think it could benefit from a deep clean. It wasn’t dirty but needed a bit more care. ”

”We stayed two weekends, 23rd and 30th The staff were very good at their job. When we were staying above incredibly volatile and inebriated guests on the first weekend, it was dealt with quickly. Unfortunately the next night another guest set off the fire alarm at 1am. The second weekend was faultless- thoughtful guests same excellent staff Clientelle interesting, staff incredibly professional and kind. ”Everything you could ask for. Easy and welcoming at check-in. Nothing was too much trouble. Clean and well appointed rooms. An excellent breakfast, couldn’t fault it. Also a great location, just 50mtr from the train station and bus stop.”

”Stayed in room 1 and bed was too firm. The bathroom was mouldy and shower head and the drain in shower over filled with water. Bedroom was clean but could not get comfortable on such hard mattress. Spa was nice and food was really good in restaurant. ”
