”Fire alarm was fault and went off after midnight. We evacuated and then it went off again around 1am. nothing offered for the stress and sleep disruption.”

”We always enjoy staying at the Garden City Hotel and have been returning twice a year—every summer and winter—for many years. The hotel itself is beautiful, but what truly makes our stay special is the incredible staff. Everyone is warm, professional, and welcoming. The housekeeping team does a wonderful job, and the valet staff are always friendly, helpful, and attentive. They consistently make us feel at home, and we truly appreciate their hard work.
The only disappointment during this stay...

”Refrigerator was broken, ruined our food. Boiler room has a pipe burst so the fire alarm went off and we had no hot water so my family and I couldn’t shower. Next day the alarm went off again. Luckily we checked out that day. Do not recommend this hotel”

Horrible Elevatorsystem - during Rush Hours up to 15 min to get up or down.
1 was out of service for 4 Days

”The location was perfect as it was close to the Barrymore Theatre and a short Uber ride to the cruise port.
I did not like that they applied a $30 "required" amenity fee that was not disclosed during booking. With the fee, they provided a $20 gift card to be spent at their café or restaurant. I felt like this was a bait and switch.
The room was not as pictured. Pictured was a standard double queen room with beds side-by-side. In the actual room, the head of one bed butt up to the foot of the...
