Matkat – Gatineau Park

Really amazing, will stay again!

The hotel was very clean, great space and the full kitchen was helpful. The guest laundry was very clean and also helpful. We very much enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The only two issues were the pillows which were not comfortable, replacing them with some feather pillows would make the room a 9.5 out of 10. The other issue was the guests who checked in at 3:00am, then couldn’t seem to find their room, so while dad was trying his key in all the rooms the two teenagers decided to race up and down the corridor laughing and yelling while banging on the walls and doors as they went. After I went into the hallway the dad decided he didn’t enjoy being glared at told them to sit on the floor while he went to the desk for help getting into the room. Staff at the front desk when told about this were apologetic, even if there was nothing they could do about this incident, but I asked them to let management know.

The room was clean I didn’t have much interaction with staff therefore I’m unable to comment. I did not have breakfast. Overall a good one night stay,
