Jazz Hotel Penang is new and nicely located by the sea side.
However, the quality and service of the staff need to be urgently upgraded.
The counter staff (an Indian lady named Nitriya) showed an cold face and unwelcoming attitude in handling the checking in. My credit card was charged without a word of informing me though I am standing right in front of the counter. The cafe served cold parties, fruits that precut and stored in cooler. Coffee machine was out of order, ran out of bean without restored. The staff in uniform (a man and a lady) played around at the counter, blocking the walk path. I have to wait until they stopped chasing each other in order to go to the washroom.
